My review comes 5 years later. Yes, it took me a while to finally review this product! When I first moved out on my own as a college student I bought many measuring cup sets from Walmart for a dollar. They faired alright but, after many washings the measurements gradually faded, and the plastic edges became rough. Only needing for me to replace them 6 months to a year later. Which added up to some money that I got tired of just wasting. So, I finally searched Amazon for what my a Chef Quality measuring cup. I came across RSVP and I’m so so happy I did. I bought several sets and decided I need something bigger than the typical 1 cup because I had grown tired of my glass measure cups as well (the numbers disappeared). The 1.5 cup is really a wonderful measuring cup. It is strong enough to be heated on the stove for chocolate or a stick of butter. I’ve put everything from water, sugar, onions, to oil in it. After 5 years it still looks like it is nearly new. I haven’t cared for it any special manner other than tossing it in the dishwasher. I can still clearly read the etched numbers and wording on the cup. Which I love. I’ve saved a tons of money buy purchasing these, and I am so glad I did. Its worth the price and it pays for it with time. If I kept up with plastic cups I would of bought lets say 3 sets a year. Lets say they’re a $1.00 a peice. In 5 years that would be $15.00 meaning this product really has paid for itself and will continue from every year forward. Additionally, I don’t see myself needing to replace it any time soon. I have added more cups to my collection. I rather pay for quality.

Perfect for dog food!
I bought the 1.5 cup scoop so I could accurately measure my dog’s food. The scoop has a nice long handle, and seems very sturdy. No rust or any other problems so far.

Sturdy, quality, easy to clean.
I bought the 1 12 cup size as I wanted a sturdy, easy to clean, stainless steel pan. Measuring was low on my list of priorities but the measure marks are very helpful.I liked it so well I now have a 2 cup and two 3 cup ones. I use silicone lids I have on hand.These are so well made! The measure marks are etched not inked, the handle is substantial, the stainless steel is quality and thicker than any other I’ve tried. I’ve even burned milk in it and after a little soaking and scrub it still shines.You do have to use a pot holder but so, so worth it.

Actually Slightly Larger
There is a marking inside the cup for 1½ c, so it’s slightly larger than advertised. Not a huge deal for my needs, but it could pose issues depending on what you need it for. The handle is also pretty long, and since we’re using it for dog food, it causes some issues getting it into and out of the bag. It’s otherwise great and just what we needed to make puppy feeding easier.

Solid, heavyweight measuring cup & sauce pan
This measuring cup / mini sauce pan is awesome! It has marks on the inside of the cup for 1/2 c, 1 c, and 1 1/2 c. It is heavy, feels very solid, and has a long handle. You could use it as a very small sauce pan to melt butter or heat milk, etc. Itâs definitely the coolest thing in my kitchen at the moment. I purchased it to measure 1 1/2 c of dog food at mealtime but I now see 100 uses for it.If you are looking for something to measure dog food, the long handle makes this measuring cup a winner. (And it is a long handle!) It helps me get to the very bottom of the bag.

Such a nice little pan.
If only it was not made in China, I’d be even happier with this little pan. It feels well made, the stainless steel is thick, it cleans easily, the size is PERFECT for my many tiny cooking tasks. Just love it. If I ever find a similar sized pan made outside of China – I will replace this one however because there’s no cheap way to check exactly WHAT China deems acceptable to be found in stainless steel or where the metal was sourced. (To learn more about qualities of stainless steel, read what flatware maker Liberty Tabletop says about how their insistence on only certain American stainless steel sources. Search then for separate info about radioactivity sometimes contaminating consumer products.)
