Cute and functional
It is sturdy, cute and functional. I leave it in the coffee can. Use it every day.

Simple and VERY sturdy
When I saw this online, the pictures made it look like there is another convex layer of clear material to the handle, but the handle consists of just a slightly convex piece of metal. Any clear layer of material on the handle you think you may see is an optical illusion. Shiny objects are, admittedly, very hard to photograph well. Even though it isn’t as fancy looking as the picture implies, I still absolutely love it. Very thick and durable and it fits very nicely into my half gallon mason jar with coffee beans. Unless I lose it, I wont need to buy another coffee scoop for the rest of my life. Its that stinking durable! One scoop of beans from this baby and I have a perfect single cup of coffee in my french press.

Well, maybe if it was Sterling instead of stainless. Solid and heavy. Only minor gripes are 1) Edges on the handle are not completely polished on my example 2) Due to its weight, it will not stand up (with handle ready to grab) when I stick it into my coffee container. It falls down into the coffee. My plastic one was light enough that the handle would stay sticking up for me to grab onto next time I used it. Otherwise, very nice item that should last a century or more.

Solid Coffee Scoop
This is a solid coffee scoop worth buying. I first found this coffee scoop on the Amazon app as a recommendation and didn’t seriously think about buying it, because who buys coffee scoops online? However, I was looking for a second coffee scoop exactly this size and hadn’t been able to find one at any of the grocery stores I usually shop, so I thought it was convenient to find one available on Amazon without searching. Nonetheless, once it arrived I was impressed with its craftsmanship, and I’m not somebody fond of using that term. What makes it so great? The thickness of the stainless steel. One of the other reviewers described it as being made out of thick stainless steel, which I didn’t think anything about, however once I got to hold the coffee scoop with my own hands I noticed a solid feel to it that my current coffee scoop lacked. As far as how well it scoops coffee, you can find most any spoon in you kitchen to help you do that, however if you looking for something with a solid feel, which will last for years, than look no further. Normally I do not review my purchases on Amazon, however I thought I would take a moment to say something about this coffee scoop, since it wasn’t something I would have thought about purchasing online or writing a review on prior to my experience of using it. Very handy size. Light yet solid.
