Perfect for summer
My dog was a little hesitant at first but he quickly loved this on the hot summer days. Once he figured out that it was cooling ( I had to try it too LOL) My dog loves it and it is easily washable. It is in his favorite spot to sun bask in the window when I am not home. Best of both worlds for him.

blanket is cooler to the touch
Is this blanket super cool? No. Is this blanket a sub-zero oasis on hot days? No. Does it feel cooler then the ambient air to the touch? Yes. Do the four legged beasts lay on it? Yes. Mission accomplished.I put this blanket in my puppies kennel, and she enjoys laying on it. I have also noticed that she will come in and lay on it when she is hot. I have had to wash it once already, and did notice that it seems to loose some of its cooling abilities. I also noticed that after washing it (in cold water), that it lost it’s ability to change colors. It is now a light blue color, also white.Would I recommend this to lay on top of a cot, or put down in a kennel for every day use? Yes. I am not panicky if the puppy chews on the blanket. I do stop her if she starts though!

Cool to the touch
As some others have described, this item arrived with the blue color already faded. But, I think that was because it had been in a package left outside my door on a hot day. I put it in my fridge and it turned blue quickly enough. It feels cool to the touch. My cat hesitated to sit on it at first, but once he did, he seemed to enjoy it. I wouldnât say it gets super cold, but it does feel chilled enough. It turned white while he sat on it, then back to blue once he got off. Maybe not worth the price, but a satisfactory item.

Our dog has officially claimed the cooling blanket as his throne! cooling but hard to clean
My 11-year-old lab mix has developed a number of difficulties related to GOLPP. One of which is an issue with self-cooling. I got this mat to keep him comfortable. I do like how portable it is, so we can move it from room to room with ease. You can feel how cool it is and it doesnât take too long to cool down again after use. He seems to love it.However, though itâs listed as washable its also listed as water absorbingâ¦is was an awful combination after he experienced a post-surgery accident while he was sleeping. I washed the mat 3 times hoping we could save it, the stain and the smell did not budge at all. So sad to have to throw it out already after just a few weeks. It didnât fall apart when I washed it, so I suppose it is washable but probably only after light useâ¦

Doesnât Work
The mat didnât stay cold, even when we put it in the freezer overnight to chill. It came out slightly cool and would warm up to room temperature fairly quickly. Saw a little of the white color when parts of it would get even warmer, but to the touch, the entire mat would feel the same. Didnât help my dog during hot days.

It absolutely works – My bunny loves it
My bunny is much like me and likes it cool. Whenever he has a chance, he lays on the A/C vent to cool off. However, I bring him to work with me too where the A/C comes from the ceiling. Trying to find a way to cool him down I tried this, it 100% works. At work, even with full free roam freedom, he almost never leaves this which I have in my office for him. This is his absolute favorite place to relax. And I have also found that if I lay on it when Iâm on the floor playing with him, I can feel the difference myself. It is one of the best things that I have gotten for him, to the point I bought a second for him to have at home when the A/C is off. Buy this for your bunny, you will not regret it at all.

Been reliable and the pup enjoys….We place one in the travel carrier in this heat we have experienced to keep cool.Use one in crate on top of padding to keep cool while sleeping.Although its cool to touch and even a bit damp feeling, it wont damage floor or carpets, no condensation.Fabric will bleach in heat, so remove from vehicle after use.
