All I wanted in a Long-Line ! And it is Pretty!
From my border collie’s point of view, going on a walk/romp with this long-lead is the Next Best Thing To Running Free! From his human Mom’s point of view this is everything I wanted in a long-line as it fits the following critera: 1) Soft enough edges to not hurt my hands when he pulls – this is a BIGGIE with me. 2) Flexible enough to easily rewind it into loops and put it into my shoulder pack 3) has a Loop at the end for holding onto when I want to extend it the entire length 4) So far it is very durable ( I do take care to not drag it too much over uneven payment just in case ) 5) does not pick up a lot of debris when going on tropical rainforest hikes 6) washable and EQUALLY IMPORTANT TO ME : It is pretty! Mine is turquoise and I often match my outfits to go with this. BTW – I get more compliments on my dog now than before – is it due to the leash being so pretty and showing off his Black and White self .. or??? I think so! (Note: I read the one and two star reviews and wanted to add the following: 1) the snap on mine is sturdy but if you have a large dog who specialized in bolting, I’d suggest that you use stronger equipment including a harness and use two connectors for safety 2) some had trouble with it tangling – the trick is to develop a technique like I did of keeping the leash in a side pouch and practice looping it back up and putting the bulk of it back in the pouch when you are not using it. I’m currently using a camera bag for this purpose; you need to be prepared at all times for managing your dog by shortening the leash 3) only ONLY have your dog more than a few feet away from you even in VERY safe areas until he/she is very well trained and responsive. if you are anywhere near a road and 4) teach your dog the “UN” tangle command. It took awhile for my dog to get the idea, but if the leash ends up under him, he is to “UNTANGLE” it by moving his foot over. And of course, if using this for puppy training let your pup know that he is NOT allowed to chew on it. It is our responsibility to protect our dogs from their own impulsiveness and this leash is a great tool for working on distance behaviors. Have fun!

Solid Leash
No complaints really, the nylon is a little rough dropping it from 5 stars to 4, but other than that great value. You’ll pay at least twice as much (if not more) for a leash this length at any pet store

Good quality, good price
We use this for training and it works great. The long length allows the dog freedom while training but us control when we need it.

Great training tool
We needed to put our pups into training to help make them better dogs to live with. Part of the training was a sit, stay and walk away. These teathers worked well to insure that they didn’t run away from us during this part of training. Both did well and these teathers worked well as insurance. What an inexpensive way to save a pet. I think they would also work well when in a park or an unfenced back yard giving them some soom to roam
