Understandable and informative!
This is a well written book that is easy to read and understand. The key take away for me was to focus on the positive behaviors in my young dog.

Very Helpful Book!
Loved this book! Shannon explains, in layman’s terms, how dog training has evolved over the years. And, explains why positive reinforcement is so much easier, and kinder, for everyone – you and your dog. Thank you for an awesome book! So happy I bought it and will definitely encourage my friends to purchase!

from a fat challenge to a great joy!
Shannon has the gifts of wisdom, vast experience, articulation and storytelling in entertaining snipits that hit home her points and make learning accessible, playful and bonding. She led the way in transforming my relationship with my dog, Noah, from a fat challenge to an everlasting joy!

She seems to be able to back up what she says by quoting science but tbh I’m not convinced. She also keeps comparing dogs to humans with regards to training techniques. To me this is nonsense as dogs don’t think like us. Personally I believe most dogs need a pack leader but this is just my opinion. Check out fenrir on you tube as he seems to know what he’s doing. Again all just my opinion
