Worth Every Penny Six Years and Going Strong!
I am a single woman who recently lost 200 pounds and my old mattress was wrecked, I needed a new one but didn’t have a 1000 bucks for a new one. I’d been a loyal Spring Air Customer. So I did my homework and looked at mattresses in my local stores. The mattress you are looking at was the one I chose. For a Full Size it was 599 dollars plus tax from the store. I really didn’t have it. I was going to finance it through the store. But, I kept thinking maybe I should check on Amazon first. I thought I might be able to save a few dollars. When I was able to get the very same mattress (no tax) delivered to my home for 190 dollars on the nose, well I clicked and bought it right away. I was scared of a bait and switch or maybe a counterfeit product I will admit. I could not have been more wrong, the mattress was the real thing and delivered to my home in two days. I will also sat it was heavy but I was able to wrestle it in the house and followed the instructions to open it. I was almost send through the wall when it “popped”. Be careful, they tell you there is 2 layers of plastic to cut through and there is not. When you cut its going to pop out and start unfurling. So be ready for the expansion. The mattress came to full size almost immediately although I let it alone on the box springs all day and let it rise before putting linens on it. I let a fan blow on it all day but there really was not an odor. I’ve slept on it every night since 8-9-18 and couldn’t be happier. No pain (and I have back troubles and fibromyalgia) and it looks wonderful. I have it on my box springs that are Spring Air and were in fine condition. Its firm but not so much it is painful or anything. I like it so far. I will occasionally come back if my opinion changes. I will be happy if this lasts a few years or longer. I have had this 2 years now and can’t tell it has ever been used, a real value. Still a great matress after all this time 3/17/21; Still doing great 4 years later, my granddaughter sleeps over with me and says it’s so comfy. Her dad bought the same mattress and loves it. Five years later 7/28/23 still going strong, might get another in the near future in case they would quit carrying them. They have jumped 100 dollars on the price point. I know inflation, so I guess you still can’t beat the price. Okay it’s now been about 6-7 years and I am ready for a new mattress and I will be buying another one of these mattresses, I am still using my old box springs but the mattress is wearing out now. Yes, I believe sometime this summer or fall I will buy another mattress. This one is still fine and I slept on much worse especially as a child. I had spinal surgery this winter and this mattress was great (no the surgery had nothing to do with the mattress). I was grateful to come home to old faithful and off the plastic wafer called a mattress at the hospital.

Affordable somewhat firm mattress
I needed to replace my IKEA mattress that was around 5 years old for a few reasons, primarily being that it was so soft (we had the plushest option available) it was causing some slight lower back pain when I actually slept on it longer that 4-5 hours. We also had some slight issues with the middle of the mattress being a bit of a sink hole when we both laid on it together. We’re both a tad overweight but not so much that it should sink as much as it did. As much as I loved the soft plush feeling of the bed, I thought my back would benefit from something firmer. I’d found and purchased this specific mattress while looking for something medium firm, as I didn’t want the mattress to be hard as a rock but still more supportive than what we had. The reviews were a bit mixed, with some saying it was too soft for their liking and some saying it was firmer than they’d like. I’m not an expert in mattress firmness, but as someone who owned a very plush bed prior, I felt medium firm was a pretty accurate description. Both the middle and edges of the bed seem to have good support and don’t sink. I did personally find the the bed comfortable and didn’t have trouble falling asleep at all, but my lower back pain became worse after switching to this mattress. Maybe I went to far on the firmness spectrum but I did give it a few weeks to see if my body just needed to adjust. My back pain continued but I thought for the price it was still a pretty solid mattress and ended up purchasing a 3 inch memory foam topper. It’s worked wonders. The mattress itself provides good support but the memory foam cradles my body and eliminates my back pain. I’m not sure if the perfect mattress exists for me within my limited budget, but I’m quite happy with the final outcome. I’ve only had it for 2 months now so time will tell if it holds up (and I will update my review as needed). But I think overall it was a pretty good purchase for the price.

Highly disappointed with this mattress and will be returning. This “firm mattress’s is the furthest thing from being firm. Within 48 hours of purchasing, it created a dent on the edge where a 25 lbs toddler sat. It sunk. And this feels more of a box spring where you feel the coils going into your back when laying down. This is AWFUL. DO NOT BUY. Thank goodness for returns as this would have been the worst waste of money, ever. Bought a much better mattress elsewhere.

Seems well made and reasonably comfortable. We’ll see how it stands up.

Absolutely horrible, I had purchased a queen a few years ago and used it on my own for about 6 months and didn’t have much of an issue. The. Purchased a California king when my boyfriend moved in, it was fine for the first few months but since then has been horrible and causing back pain. Almost 3 years in and it’s unbelievably soft. I regret buying this for an everyday mattress. The queen size that gets used very rarely at our cottage isn’t as soft but still not a firm mattress. The cal king used daily is the worst mattress I’ve ever slept on. DO BOT BUY!
