Customers appreciate the pet feeder’s suction cup that stays firmly attached to the bowl. They find it easy to clean and remove for cleaning. The product is chewable, durable, and works well in metal dog bowls. However, some customers have differing opinions on how well it fits.

Works beyond great!
I have tried other slow bowls but this one is great because it attaches to his existing bowl (I donât really like having an extra bowl sitting out) It really suctions into place & does not move. It absolutely slows down his eating! He used to eat his meal in about 3 minutes, maybe less and now it takes him about 10 minutes but he actually seems to like it.

Helps my dog eat slower
My chihuahua was vomiting after eating due to her speed of consumption. She is like a vacuum cleaner. This helped slow her down and she no longer hacks up her un-chewed dinner. Dish-washer safe.

Great product but my dog still ate it.
Yes, it slowed my dog down from inhaling his food but once I turned my back on the situation, he had torn this thing to pieces. Not for Blue Heeler owners.

Works wonders.
This slow feed for the 7 lbs rescue Shih Tzu that is always hungry and gobbles like a pig, she would actually snort, has been amazing at slowing her down. One of the best fines for dogs without manners. It fits perfect in her small bowl.

It works butâ¦
This slow feeder insert is GREAT! It helped slow down my dog while eating. He used to choke from eating so fast. Itâs convenient cause it sticks and unsticks to a regular bowl and is easy to cleanâ¦â¦HOWEVERâ¦.. it is a habitat for MOLD. I clean it after every meal very well and make sure to dry it off, I even sanitize it in boiling water once a week. But being that itâs a rubbery soft material, mold grows very easily under the suction cups and in the little air holes. I recommend purchasing one of the plastic slow feeder bowls, not inserts.

May not work for certain dogs or food
I really like this insert. It sticks well in the bottom of the stainless bowl, and is easy to clean. It has slowed down our Springer Spaniel to where she is enjoying her meal. She would gobble up her food (1/2 cup of kibble) in less than 45 seconds, and I have been concerned about bloat. Now, she eats her food in 4-5 minutes and actually chews her kibble. However, I would not use canned food with this, or certain dogs like Pugs, Bostons and Frenchies would have a tough time with this insert. But it works great for our Springer. And it washes up nicely in the dishwasher in the top rack too.

Takes them 3x as long to eat!
These inserts did exactly what I intended – reducing how my dogs inhale their meals. It takes them 3x as long to finish their food now, and hopefully better digestion and weight mgmt in the process. The only drawback is that a bit of the liquid broth I use as a topper gets caught underneath the insert.

Se ajusta a cualquier plato y funciona perfecto, no batalla tanto para comer, asà que no se desespera y no come rápido

Iâm not sure if itâs just my breed, but my great dane cannot reach all the food given how tall the barriers are. Love the idea though!
