Cat goes for it!
The ability to bend this in any way wanted is great for interesting the cats to play. It is sturdy and lasts very well even with my cats vigorous activity. It’s great as a tease, just hold it by the tail end & twist in some shape to entice your kitty to pounce. My cats are older but I can still get them to play with this.

Iâm surprised as I really didnât expect much from something so cheap, but itâs fairly substantial compared to all the other cheap toys that are currently carpeting my living room.To be fair: heâs 6 months old and still very much insane, in that crazy kitten way. EVERYTHING is exciting for him. He thinks my tiny apartment is Disneyland. His favorite toys are those chintzy mince you get in multipacks here along with pipe cleaners and golf balls that I can buy handfuls of for a buck nearby.Still, compared to all that, this is fairly substantial, and my fat cat whoâs his adoptive father loves it too. It just occurred to me to come back & leave this review because Onyx is going kitten crazy with this toy nearby. He really loves it.So, if you want a cheap toy and have a playful cat or kitten, try it. They might like it.Or maybe my cats are just crazy. We do live in Disneyland after all. ð¤·ââï¸

Favorite Toy!
I bought this toy a year ago and have ordered many more since. There it doesnât make any sound or move on its own but all my foster cats have loved it! One of my foster babies gets the growlies (zoomie growls) when he plays with it which cracks everyone up! LOL A great safety âfeatureâ or whatever you want to call it, that I noticed is when the internal wire finally got ripped out I saw that it was covered in a soft stretchy plastic tubing. So not only was it free of sharp protrusions but the plastic stretched so there were no little shreds to be swallowed!

Not popular; smaller than expected
Only 1 of my 3 cats play with it. He likes to chew on the fins as they crinkle. If the body of the toy crinkled, I think it would’ve been more popular. You can feel the wire inside the toy & it’s smaller than expected. It’s great for the price.

“Happy adoptiversary!” …it sounds lame if you don’t also have a present for kitty, right?In the past 2 months, our littlest has stretched out this sea monster/dragon/Nessie, curled it up, fetched it, and guarded it from the older kitties. She takes it all around the house with her. It’s not her absolute favorite toy (because the little plastic springs are hard to beat), but it’s close.I was worried it’d bend too far and the wire would snap, but it’s proven sturdy.I was also concerned that its face or mane would be chewed off quickly with her rough play. They’re still there, looking barely disturbed.5 stars, no question.

My cat loves this!
My cat doesnât love every toy I present her with. Most of them she ignores but for some reason she adores this little twisty dragon. She loved her original one so much that she eventually tore holes in it. Once the filling started to come out, I decided I needed to buy her a new one. I bought two and itâs a good thing because within a few days she had already torn holes in one of the new ones I gave her. She âhuntsâ it, pounces on it, bites it a few times and sometimes presents it to us as a gift. But in doing so sheâs torn some holes in it. Not the most sturdy but as long as she loves it, I will keep replacing it.
