I’m stunned, but my cats love this.
When I received this, I was sorely disappointed. It is so flimsy and looks awful, but then I tried it on my cats, and they loved it, so I can’t help but give this a 5 star review. I wish the wire were sturdier and longer, but maybe the cats wouldn’t love it as much. The end came off after a few uses, but I just reattached new things to the end. The cats still love it. Go figure.

Not what you’re hoping for
I was hoping this would basically be the same as the Cat Dancer, which my cats LOVE, but with a handle that’d make it easier for me to use. Not so much! The magic of the Cat Dancer is the specific type of wire they use, and this has something totally different that really ruins the playability. The wire is soft and limp, and makes it difficult to manipulate the toy. The wire also isn’t well secured inside the handle (which is a tiny length of plastic tube) and popped out within the first day of use.I like that the lure on the end is a bit more durable than the cardboard on the Cat Dancer, but that’s really the only plus. I wasn’t expecting anything amazing or durable at this price, but I’m still disappointed. My younger cat will play with it but it’s definitely no Cat Dancer, don’t waste your money.

Not what I expected.
I know it was going to be short. Not my issue. The fact the coil never relaxes enough to “fly” , which is made worse by the fact it is a shorter wire. Can’t really play with it, and doesn’t tempt my cat in any way. Nice concept, needs a better reality.

It’s a simple, well loved toy
I’ve had to pull out my glue gun a couple times to fix this toy. The string falls of the one end and the handle has fallen off a couple of times… BUT this simple and affordable toy is so well loved by my kitty, that I can forgive it for not lasting forever.Get it for your cat!(It’s best for supervised play… some cats will try chewing on the metal and that’s no good)

Not worth the money.
They tore the end off after 5 minutes!I just received and struggled with 4 tight plastic fasteners used by the company to attach the toy to the cardboard. Why??? One or two would have been sufficient to hold it in place. Only good thing is the handle. Not sure how long that will last because the critters pull hard on the end. Buy the original and attach a tongue depresser or popsicle stick so that you don’t have to twist your wrist. Now, if only the original product could be improved by adding a durable handle.

Cats will love this!
Bought two of these for people in the family. They are awesome and I can’t wait to give them to family cats for Christmas! The little things on the end are not cardboard like what you buy in the store… these are made of beaded heavy twine! They should last much longer than the cardboard ones!

So So!!!!!
My cats actually do like this. But then again they like anything you dangle in front of them. Not sure if I was using it wrong but it was kind of annoying using it. Not knocking it. Just not our choice.
