Excellent Chew Toy for an AGGRESSIVE Chewer
Our 18-month old Doberman is the most aggressive chewer that has ever lived with us. She goes through the “Tuff” toys – supposedly made for aggressive chewers – in about 10 minutes. The first one of these Ethical Pets Strong chew bones lasted her about 6 months before she started to get pieces of the rubberized material off of the main body. At that point I threw it away since I didn’t want to take a chance on her eating them and harming herself.I ordered the second one because the first lasted so long. This is a good toy if your dog likes to chew a lot, and they’re available in different sizes depending on the size of your dog. For our Dobey we got the 6″ size. They are “almost” indestructible, and better than almost everything else we’ve ever tried.

Great so far!!
So far so good. My JRT (Jack Russell Terrier) loves this and one other Play Strong Chew Toy purchased from Amazon.com. So far she has not chewed off any pieces but we are just going on our second day. I have read some other reviews with all sort of issues chewing through this but not so far for us. Also I do not understand what the issue is with returning the product if found defective right after buying. I have found Amazon.com to be great on returns for defective products. All you have to do is go to your orders and click you need to return with the reason. You can then print a UPS mailing label and either have UPS pick it up at your front door or drop it off at any UPS drop location. How much easier can that be? I am hopeful this chew toy holds up though but if she chews through this one quickly I will be returning to Amazon.com.

Sturdy but not chew-proof
My bull dog loves these! I would say the itâs more chew-proof than many other similar items on the market however, itâs still not quite sturdy enough for my dog. After about a week or so, pieces are crumbling off from her gnawing and so, in the trash it goes at that point (she likes to eat the pieces as they come off which, is not a good idea obviously).

I just received this bone. It is a good size, and I like that it had an opening for inserting treats. That said my 8 month old Cane Corso liked it, but within 10 minutes had one end torn up and chunks missing.
