Great purchase! I opted out from using toxic plastic containers and stainless steel ones seemto always leak. This one is high quality with all separate compartments. Washing in dishwasher makes it easy to clean and it does not keep the smell of the food nor detergent in it. I love it! Awesome for taking salad and adding protein and dressing/nuts/crackers in additional compartments. 5 out of 5

Pretty much as promised but NOT leakPROOF
This is a nice set. It is roomy and allows for a sizeable salad with extras packed separately. The spork is just right for eating said salad. However, the product info suggests the container is leakproof, which it is not in several respects. One of my pictures shows the container ready for packing, with items in the upper portion separate and the spork on top. After clamping on the lid and jostling the container around a bit (as it would be in my backpack walking to work) all the ingredients in the top tray were still there but some had jumped compartments; none moved down to the lower compartment and the sealed container for the salad dressing (which actually had colored water) did NOT leak. So far so good. When I placed plain water in the lower compartment, sealed the container, and inverted it not only did the water move to the top tray, but it also leaked out of the entire container along the edges of the lid. Taking the orange lid off the center container and repeating showed water also moved from top to bottom (as well as leaking out completely). Conclusions: If you are packing a normal salad with relatively large toppings (bigger than rice) and don’t mind a little mixing of the toppings on a bumpy ride you will be very happy. If you are carrying more liquid items don’t count on the leakproof claim (unless ALL the liquid is in the small center container). Also note that the container is not insulated and that stainless steel conducts heat rapidly – if you want something to stay cold or hot you’ll need an insulated bag to put it in.

Perfect for Salads, not so much for soup.

Super functional, stainless steel salad container
I mean you don’t really have to use this as salad box only, you can literally put anything on the container. I pack lunch with rice and food with sauce (in the sauce bowl) and it works like a magic. It comes with large one for the leaves, tray for proteins (or other garish) and also sauce bowl. I feel like sauce bowl is a little small for the container size, but it’s just a minor issue. The cap is very tight, so it keeps the food in place, and design is also very well done. Because it’s a steel, you can simply just put it in the dish washer.Excellent product for the price.
