Finally! A quality bowl made from stainless. We’ve been through a few. My Doberman pup is sensitive to plastics. She gets acne on her chin from plastic bowls. She also has a high food drive. Her favorite thing seems to be flipping her food bowl. Yeah, it’s good times. Anyway, she can’t or won’t flip this bowl. The way it was built it’s hard to flip anyway. But, it’s not her first flip-resistant bowl. She’s flipped them all, until this one. It is a slow feeder, but it doesn’t slow her down a whole lot. It’s very well-built and easy to rinse out or throw in the dishwasher.

Best food bowl
I cannot rave enough about this bowl. I adopted a dog from the shelter that positively inhaled her food. I tried many other bowls. This one is very effective in slowing her down. Additionally, the bowl, which is beautiful, is made of a heavy weight stainless steel. Very sanitary and you can pop it in the dishwasher.

Too big for a slow down bowl
I rarely write a review but in this case, I decided to make an exception. I was impressed with the look of this bowl prior to ordering it but was on the hunt for a new slow down bowl because my dog eats her food too fast. In spite of the high price of this bowl, I ordered it. It is well made and overall is a very nice bowl, but the opening around the middle is even bigger than what I already had. In order for this to be a true slow down bowl, it would need to be used by a dog with a very large muzzle. My dog is a Weimaraner and she is considered to be a large breed dog, but she gobbled up her food even faster with this bowl and ended up with a stomach ache later. Now the bowl sits in a cupboard not even being used. There should be a choice of sizes with this bowl because there is no way that one size fits all when it comes to dogs. What a waste for such a high priced bowl.

Works well. Bought this for my 8 week old lab. Little big for him but I think it slows him down even more since it is so big for him. Recommend.

Great stainless bowl!
Love the simplicity of it for cleaning yet still slows the feeding down. Not plastic at all so my dog can not chew on any part of it. The skid proof rubber on the bottom is great and keeps it in its place. Not quite sure it has âsuctionâ power but it slides stay out. Love that itâs stainless and easy to sanitize and clean.
