I have 3 Labrador retrievers who have quite a propensity for chewing on things. We’ve gone through several different food dishes and found these to be the easiest to keep clean and longest lasting of the ones we’ve tried. It also serves to slow down the dogs eating a bit. Labrador retrievers eating is truly a treat to watch. You would think they eat an entire bowl of food without chewing 1 bit.

Poorly Sealed – Holds water
This bowl was cheap and only lasted three feedings. It worked well for the first two, but after the third feeding, it went into the dishwater and came out filled with water between the inside and outside layers. We’ve used lots of stainless dog bowls that looked similar to this one, but this is the first to fill with water. Because it was so cheap, it ended up in the trash. I wouldn’t recommend this bowl.

I bought two of these and they work well. However the rubber feet on the bottom came off after a few washings on both bowls.

Revised review again – I love this bowl but..,
…but in the few weeks I’ve had it, the rubber feet that prevent the bowl from sliding across the floor while my dog eats keep coming off. I’ve tried various glues, epoxies, and super-strong. mounting tap. Nothing stick for more than week or two. I wash these daily (by hand) and the last rubber pad to fall off covered whole in the outer wall of the double wall bowl. And the bowl was slowly filling with water. This is not acceptable either. But Amazon will subject my return to a restocking fee or no refund…so. I guess I keep it and use it as a door stop.

Great for our special needs dog
We have a dog with a neurological disorder. He was eating way too fast and gagging and belching. We needed to get him something that would help slow him down, but not frustrate him. This fits the bill. He eats slower, but it’s not overly difficult for his brain capacity.

This is a great bowl. It has really slowed my dogs eating down. He seems to enjoy eating now and by eating slowly his digestion has improved. Definitely recommend this bowl.

Great slow feeder bowl
This slow feeder bowl is as advertised. My dog is definitely a fast eater, but this bowl slows her down and she doesn’t have vomiting issues anymore. Like the quality, durable bowl at a reasonably price.
