This is a great mental stimulation toy
Purchased this for our GSD puppy and itâs been really great so far. Sheâs a typical 9 week old puppy-huge amounts of energy, chews A LOT, and this really engages her.I originally wanted to order the large but only the small was in stock. Iâm glad it was because the size is better than I was expecting and itâs a lower price point. It doesnât seem small at all, more a medium. Check measurements if youâre concerned. The small size is perfect IMO.I like how you can adjust the opening to increase/decrease the difficulty. I have given it to our pup to play with while sheâs out of her crate and Iâm working on something, that way I can adjust/help her if she gets frustrated. I havenât put an entire meal in it, so she usually has it completed it about 10 minutes. It doesnât keep her busy for a really lengthy time but for her age, the amount of stimulation in one setting is great. As she gets older, Iâm hoping I can gradually increase the difficulty and she can play with it longer, but we will have to wait and see.Itâs a really tough plastic and surprising heavy for a toy, but it needs to be weighted in the bottom to achieve the bobble function. Itâs louder than other toys and if youâve got a rough pup, it might do some damage if it were tossed.I cannot speak to it use in a crate because I havenât tried it for that. To be honest, I probably wonât because I want our puppy to view her crate as a relaxing place and this toy gets her stimulated and as mentioned, she can get frustrated if it gets too hard.I saw some reviewers say their dogs chewed it apart. I think that depends a lot on age and when youâre allowing it to be used (supervised vs unsupervised). Our pup gets really frustrated when itâs empty, so I make sure Iâm around and can hear that sheâs gotten all the kibble out. Then I remove it and give her something else to do. If she were allowed to have the toy once it was empty, I could see her maybe trying to chew it out of frustration. Itâs big enough that at her age, I doubt she would be able to chew the tough plastic. Give her another few weeks and that might change, but I wonât allow her to have access to it without supervision to avoid her getting frustrated.Overall I think if you are looking for something to keep your pup busy and content for a long time, I would look for something else. I feel like interactive feeders like this are great for what they do but once itâs done giving treats or kibble, a dog could become frustrated and chew on it. If youâre looking for something engaging that can be used periodically to stimulate and challenge your pup, I would highly recommend this one!

Great treat dispensing dog toy! Our 10-year-old, 33 lb Terrier mix LOVES this Bob-a-Lot dog toy! We love it too. It gives her great mental stimulation, fun play and snacks. The loop ribbon was chewed on day 2 so now it is more of a ribbon string but it still works well as a way for her to lift the toy and drop it as a part of the play. It is really well built (she can’t chew through the casing) I also like the 2 separate chambers that you can adjust for treat sizes. This is a really well designed toy!

VERY STURDY! Keeps my dog entertained for SO long!
My dog is injured and isnât allowed to go on walks for a two months. I had to find a way to keep her mental activity level up so that she doesnât get too bored or depressed during her down time. I give her this toy and it tires her out as much as our usual walk would! Sometimes she tries to chew it to get the treats out but the toy is so sturdy it doesnât matter. I feel totally fine giving her this toy before going to work to keep her entertained because I know itâs safe and wonât break apart while Iâm away.I love the fact that the toy has to go through two levels to actually come out for her to retrieve (from the hole in the lid to the bottom chamber, then out the hole in the side). My dog is very smart and figures out new puzzles quickly, but that extra step to get the treats out makes the fun last that much longer!Definitely recommend!

I really like the Starmark Treat Dispensing Bob-a-Lot Dog Toy! It keeps my dog engaged for a long time with its clever design. There are two areas where the food needs to pass through before my dog can eat it, which adds an extra layer of challenge. Plus, you can adjust the size of the holes to make it easier or more difficult, depending on your dog’s needs.The only downside is that I should have gotten the bigger size. My dog’s 3/4 cup of food doesnât fit in the smaller one, so I fill it with as much as it can hold and then put the rest in a bowl.Overall, it’s a great toy that provides mental stimulation and keeps my dog entertained. Just make sure to get the right size for your dogâs needs!

Fun for puppy, super easily chewed
This is a fun way to give my puppy a snack, but within minutes a 6 pound dog is able to chew grooves into the top. There’s also no way to wash it and dry it, which is why I cannot give more than three stars.

Good distraction
Dog likes it but she also uses it as a weapon. Itâs pretty loud just because she likes to get the treats out by throwing the thing across the room. On the plus side though itâs pretty durable and the plastic has held up against her chewing. It keeps her busy so itâs worth the price in my book. I just wish there was a way to stop her from dropping this on my foot cause my god itâs so heavy that I limp for a good while after sheâs done it to me.

Absolutely brilliant dog toy. Our Vizsla puppy needs the mental stimulation and this toy is perfect. Keeps her busy for half hour and that’s with only a handful of her biscuits in. She goes absolutely mental with exctiment when she sees you getting the bob it to put her treats in, her full bum wagging haha. Perfect size and weight for a 3 month old puppy. Really tough and sturdy too. She’s tried to have a chew on it at times but failed miserably. I’ll definitely be buying the large one when she gets to adult life. Can’t recommend this toy enough

Excellent jouet, mes chiens l’ont immédiatement adopté et l’adorent! Il y a une trappe rotative en dessous du bouchon jaune, qui permet de le remplir avec de petites croquettes et une trappe sur le côté, dont l’ouverture est ajustable pour permettre aux croquettes de tomber.
