    Heavy Chewers Rejoice!
I have two 16 month old German Shepherd brothers who I would rate as heavy chewers. One of their favorite pastimes is product testing toys that claim to be for heavy chewers and proving them wrong. Not so with the Starmark balls! This is our second because the first one is still around and both boys need to have their own. These balls ARE great for dispensing treats, but we primarily like to play fetch with them. Hooray, hooray, it turns out they also float! The brothers love to try to drown the balls in our lake, but these balls just pop right back to the surface. We have had our first ball for about a year now and it shows no signs of wear. The second ball is just a few months old but likewise shows no wear despite being constant companions to my puppies’ mouths (they chew on these almost like gum). These are definite favorites of the GSD brothers AND this GSD mom who is thrilled to find durable toys for these power chewers.

Great Ball Holds Up To Power Chewers
We are slaves to our Old English Bulldogs and could have easily put an addition on the house for what we spend on dog toys. Now this said there still is no better return on investment than indulging your best friend. Our oldest is a 95 pound ball crazy soccer player par excellance named Harley. He is incredibly agile and incredibly destructive with any ball from tennis which he can destroy in a nano second to Jolly and Kong agressive chewer balls which at least have a fighting chance and stick around a few weeks prior to being tossed when they look more like road kill than balls.I bought this StarMark fun ball on a lark and Harley LOVES it. When I saw and felt how soft and squishy the material was I thought not a chance. And that once again the purchase of a dog toy was pretty close to pre mediatated murder. So my spouse and I gave it a good 5 minutes before the jaws of life ripped it to shreds. To our surprise this toy really holds up. The soft material must be a nice change from the rock hard rubber of Kongs and the cement like nylon of Nylabone – both of which we love and have been buying for decades. The ball has great bounce, maintains it’s shape and you can add a treat as the ball is hollow it comes with a sample. We haven’t put a treat or cookie in yet but without question we’ll be adding them every time we want to crank up the crazy.Plus the size is great for any medium to large dog, I’ll be buying more!5 PAWS UP!

    Good, durable ball for chewers
Nice tough rubbery plastic that invites chewing but also survives it. Intended to be filled with treats to keep the dog busy. Had to modify it slightly by snipping out a couple of the rubber prongs inside as these made the holes too small to properly drop the kibble size I use, but that is the only flaw I could find.

Best dog toy for my aggressive chewer
This is the best money I’ve spent on a dog toy. The ball bounces, holds small treats or larger jerky style treats, and is so durable! My dog is an absolute monster to all of her toys. Chews them apart in minutes. I was a bit skeptical at first because the rubber feels softer but it’s amazing! We’ve had this for a few weeks now and it’s held up perfectly! No pieces missing or tears at all! I recommended this ball to a few friends and they love it as well!

Perfect Treat/Food Ball for Fun and Exercise
My dog eats her food much too fast and sometimes chokes because of that. I have tried different gadgets, but this one works the best for me. It is big enough for her full dinner (about 1 cup) and it is soft enough not to harm furniture or walls when it is slammed into them. I had tried another ball that was hard plastic which I was fearful would damage the kitchen cabinet edges and furniture when she would send it flying across the room, not to mention the noise. When this ball does hit something, it just makes a quiet thud without any marks. She is a medium sized dog but she is able to pick it up because of the soft but sturdiness of the material. This ball is perfect for my dog as she now eats slowly, no more choking on her food plus she has fun and gets exercise too. She runs all over the house swiping the ball with her paws to make it roll and dispense her food. If /when this gets worn out, I will be back to purchase another one.

Great for playing fetch! Great bounce & extremely durable
We don’t use these for treats. They bounce really well so we use them for fetch with our dogs. The only way they can destroy these (by chewing) is if it’s an older ball. We keep a dozen or more in a basket for our daily play time.

    Will not break or tear!!!!
I have a pit bull and this ball has lasted for two years of ruff and tuff play and non stop throwing. This is one of the few toys he can not destroy. The color he loves and we love to take it in the bath so bath time is more enjoyable since this is his fav ball, and it floats. This is an excellent ball and you can add treats to it so you can play go find it. It is great so they practice using their nose and they love it when you hide it and they find it. This ball I will recommend to anyone who wants a ball that will last and is not heavy. The kong is also great but it is heavy which as this one when you toss it inside it will not break your things or ruin your wall (if you play inside)which I know isn’t the best thing to do but we do sometimes anyways and only with this ball) So I highly recommend this ball!!!!!!!! I probably will never buy a different one.

I have a little JRT, and you should see him dance when this comes out… he loves it. It’s very tough rubber, and thus far after a few months, it’s still going strong. I love the fact that you can make it a bit easier, by cutting a nodule or 2 out. Highly recommend it
