I’ve taken to buying these kinds of kits as gifts for young children, as too many gifts these days are mindless. This, on the other hand, can help a child understand how machines work. By putting something together, and recognizing the interactions, they gain a better understanding of the world around us.I would recommend that this is a kit you put together with your child, while my 12 year old could have easily done this themselves, I don’t think they’d have put as much thought and consideration as they did when I pointed out key elements. However, as a kit, I’m very happy with it.

What a great product!!
So often I order Stem items only to be very disappointed with the lack of educational learning and quality. I could not be more pleased with this order and it completely exceeds my expectations and for under twenty bucks I consider this a find. I have young nephews and I ordered this for my eleven year old nephew who is very into engineering. My sister in law bought my son an electronics kit when he was young and it inspired him so much he ended up becoming an electrical engineer. I hope this does the same for my nephew.There are four build it kits and they don’t look very easy so not for a super young kid. I like how they combine different learning opportunities into these projects challenging the kids and leaving them with great satisfaction and pride on their getting these put together and operational.This is a great gift and one to inspire!
