Does the job!
Looks good and seems to help keep ants out of the food and water trays!

Perfect size!
Wish it was a little larger even with it being with two of them. But it does dry fast.

Small
These do absorb water but are much smaller than I expected.

Small footprint; does not slide
I have a stone mat in my bathroom, and I like that it is very easy to clean and that it dries quickly, so I decided to use a similar mat under my cats’ water dish and food dispensers. This two pack is a decent price, and the mats are small, so they don’t take up a lot of space. They do their intended job which is to protect my floors from splashes of food and water. They are easy to clean and look nice and tidy. The cats don’t necessarily have to sit or stand on the mats (because they are small), so the mats aren’t even in the cats’ ways. I like that they have a nonslip fabric to secure them in place, so my floor is not scuffed by the stone. Overall, I’m pleased with these stone mats.

Weird scent
Good size and absorbency. It has a weird scent since opening box, still hasnât gone away after a month.

No more water clean up
I am obsessed with the absorbent stone mats available now. This set is perfect for our pet food and water station. Easy to clean and has plenty of room for large water and food bowls. It absorbs water quickly with ease. The stones are heavy and feel quality. It comes with 2 pieces of anti-slip gripping fabric which really holds them in place and protects both stone and floor. They also look so much nicer than the silicone and plastic mats we had before.

I Guess They are Similar to Other Stone Mats
I don’t have any experience with these type of mats, so please keep that in mind. However, there are at least two things that I can comment on objectively:The measurements are around 11 5/8″ X 15 1/2″, not 12″ by 15″, like one of the photos suggests. Later in the product description, the measurement is listed as 30 cm X 40 cm. This is much more accurate. The visible evidence of moisture does not disappear with 60 seconds. I did a simple test (see video) in which I lightly dampened my finger tips. Then I lightly touched them to the stone. After 60 seconds, the water mark did not change much. I stopped the video around 70 seconds after the mark was made, but 5 minutes later, the mark was still about as dark as it was at the ten seconds mark.Mine did come with two anti-slip mats, but they are thin and stuck very closely together, so that they appear to be a single mat. The suggestion is to put these on top of the stone mats, to inhibit the movement of something like a water bowl. If I were to place these next to a sink or on a hardwood floor, I would put the anti-slip mat under the stone mat, to reduce the chance of marking the surface under the mat. However, one side (I presume the “up” side) is noticeably scratchier / less even than the other. This should offer an inherent anti-slip property. The product also comes with two p240 sandpaper discs. These are technical considered fine, but this is on the low end of fineness; they are still very scratchy. These are for use to refinish the top of it gets stained or discolored. These will work pretty well as a drying surface for my cat bowl, but they don’t exceed my expectations, and appear to be heady a little on the expensive side. I wouldn’t feel comfortable using them as bath mats, as they are pretty thin, and I’d great that they would crack under the weight of an average American adult.

Rigid stone mat
The stone is absorbent as advertised. I wish that there weren’t a seam between the two pieces, and that one flat piece would cover both dishes.

These are very nice, heavy mats – I was expecting them to be flexible, but they are like a stone block. They are a decent size and will easily hold water and food bowls and will be very easy to clean. They also come with a non slip grip mat to use underneath to keep them from moving around. They also come with pieces of sandpaper for cleaning keeping the surface porous. The instructions say Bathroom Mat, although I’m unsure why/how this would be used in a bathroom.

Size wise, these need to be a bit wider. Although it catches some of the drips from my dog drinking, it misses the majority due to the size. Great size for small dogs or cats, but not a medium to large dog.Quality seems good. They are very dusty on arrival (mentioned in the instructions) and need to be wiped down.Absorption is not immediate but definitely does very nicely absorb any water that it catches. Great protection for our wooden floors.
