This spray works better than anything else I’ve tried
I have a 14 yr old beagle who was incontinent after an injury. He couldn’t make it to the door frequently and would choose the rug next to the door. I was at the point after many cleanings with carpet cleaner that I was just going to toss the rug. Tried this based on review and it is incredible, albeit a little pricey but effective. It also works wonders on stains. The initial scent is a little strong but fresh and beats the smell of urine by far. The scent will calm after an hour or so, but like I said, beats the option. Not tossing rug anymore. I also tried the cleaner and was not as impressed. I find if I clean rug with a towel to soak up what is possible, spray and let dry, after rug cleaning it is cleaner than if I just used the carpet cleaner on it, which made spraying the whole rug necessary and it took out older dirt. Amazing! Works on poop too, no stain.

Works but doesn’t smell that good
I purchased this because I hired a sitter to watch my dog one weekend while I was in the field and he never showed up to the house to let my dog out. No surprisingly, there was a nice smattering of pee and poop covering the carpet when I got home. The smell was pretty bad, even after using my awesome Bissell Pro Heat carpet cleaner. The carpet cleaner got all the stains out, but the odor was mostly pee, which had dried by the time I got home, so I couldn’t really tell where it was to do some extra passes with the carpet cleaner. This product worked great to get the urine odor out of the carpet. However, I don’t like the way the product itself smells, so I had to clean the carpet again to lift out the product. It absolutely does what it’s supposed to, but since I used it on the entire carpet in my basement, it wasn’t as easy to dab or wipe away, as it would have been if I was only spot treating. With the product sprayed over such a large area, the smell was very noticeable, and doing another total pass with my carpet cleaner seemed to be the only way to remove the product enough to reduce the smell. For the price, I’m not sure the product was worth it, since I ended up having to clean the carpet an additional time, which is what I was trying to avoid. I will continue to use what I have for spot treatments when necessary, but will probably not purchase again.

What an Improvement!
I had a brief problem with my cats urine marking certain areas of my living room. I thought I was going to have to pull out the carpet and seal the cement underneath to get rid of the smell. I didn’t have to do that. I got the smell out but, it took some money, a LOT of Sunny & Honey product, time and hard work to fix the problem. A fresh smelling house is important to me. So it was worth it.This is what I did:If I was able to catch a fresh urine mark, I blotted the area with an absorbent cloth or paper towels and tried to soak up as much of the urine as possible. Then, I generously applied Sunny & Honey Enzyme Cleaner. On old or dried urine stains, I found that the enzyme cleaner worked best when I doused the carpet with enough product that it could soak in and reach the urine that was down deep in the carpet pad underneath. I let the enzymes work their magic for a couple of days . Then I shampooed the heck out of the entire carpet with Sunny & Honey Carpet Shampoo and Deodorizer. I let the carpet dry a few days. Then checked the carpet for any lingering urine smell. I re-applyed more enzyme cleaner where needed. Then waited again for the carpet dry. Lastly, I generously spread Glade Vanilla & Lavender carpet deodorizer on the carpet where the urine marking was and let it sit there for 24 hours before vacuuming it up. This took out the last faint lingering cat urine smell. My house and carpet look and smell great!I would recommend buying a Ultra Violet “black light” pet stain detector flashlight. I bought the TaoTronics 51 here on Amazon from Sunvalleytek. A UV black light illuminates the urine salts in the carpet. It helped me locate and treat all the dry urine marks I couldn’t see.This is a lite fresh smelling product. The scent disappears quickly from the room in a day or so. I recommend using good ventilation when spraying this product. If your asthmatic consider wearing a mask. The fine mist in a confined place made both my son and I cough.This is a good product that saved my carpet and my sanity. I would buy it again.UPDATE:It’s been a little over a month since I’ve applied Sunny and Honey’s enzyme cleaner and carpet shampoo to my cat marked carpet. I found that the enzyme cleaner can attract dirt to the carpet if it is not rinsed well. I’ve had to re-rinse some spots. It can be a little difficult to completely rinse.Old cat urine is a really tough odor to eliminate. This product has worked well. The cat urine smell is gone 100% for everyone in the house – but me. I have a sensitive nose. On a warm day, I catch a faint whiff of cat urine and enzyme cleaner every once in a while. Still, it is 98% better than what it was! A solid product.

Works well but smell is intolerable
I wanted to clean up some areas on the carpet that had non-visible cat vomit stains and a couple of cat urine stains on a cat condo (our elderly cat has now passed away) so they wouldn’t bother the new cats we are getting. I have a black light and used that to find the stains. I used to use another enzyme cleaner for cat stains but they had added a terrible fragrance to it so I had to stop. This product was highly rated by other users so I decided to give it a try. After applying the product and letting it sit for two hours the stains were significantly less bright under black light, so I would definitely call it effective. Unfortunately the odor is incredibly strong – so strong that not only do we smell it, but we taste it. We opened two large patio doors and ran a large fan the first evening and again all day the next day. I had continued with my project after opening the bottle because I hoped the smell would dissipate when the produce dried. Silly me. The room we used it in just stinks from this stuff. I would like to return the unopened bottle (I bought 2) but there is no option in Amazon returns for “I hate it”.What I don’t understand is, the product attacks the stain and does a good job (according to observations under black light) so why add the overpowering fragrance? I don’t see any need for it since the produce removes the cause of the odor you may be treating. Right now I am trying a container of vinegar in the room to see if I can reduce the smell enough to be able to use the room again. This is ridiculous.

We have an old cat who had an accident. After much washing we threw away our hall runner.. however the carpet still smelled. When the heating went on and the lingering odour became more apparent, my younger cat decided to add his smell to the carpet. No amount of washing and rinsing removed the smell. After much research and understanding that an enzyme based remover was the only option we purchased the miracle remover. We drenched the plasterboard, the skirting, the wooden shoe box the underlay and the floor. Left it to do itâs thing, then rinsed it off. The stuff smells of a minty Forrest, itâs very pungent and I would recommend that you have a window and/or door open when you do the initial spraying. The cat smell has gone, even from the plasterboard, which is simply fantastic because that was the most smelly bit. The minty Forrest smell remained quite strong for about 4 days and sometimes I thought I could still smell a faint cat wee odour. However we are two weeks on and both smells have gone. This product does what it says it will. Iâm delighted that it actually worked. It is well worth the money, and I canât recommend it highly enough. For the first time in months both cats have stopped sniffing around the accident site… so they are are the biggest advocates that this brand works.

This is the best company ever!!! Their customer service is second to none!… my puppy had been using my rug as a personal loo and would bring stinky toilet paws in from outside, I tried a leading brand to no avail however the first time I used the spray I used it on the carpet and floors and returned from work to find my house didn’t smell like a dog urinal for the first time in months, it’s smells minty (like toothpaste) however even if you don’t like mint it is 1000% better than the smell of wee and it does get rid of the smell not just mask it,I have a very sensitive sense of smell and there is no underlying pong, even though my dog is now housetrained as he is long haired he still brings in smelly wee feet so I still use it, I also sprayed it on the patio and it did the job, no waft of poo from outside….I have purchased the carpet cleaner also and will leave a review once I have had time to get the machine out…. I will 100% purchase from this company again….well priced products that work!! Amazing customer service and after sales what’s not to like!

Difficult odour to remove from car carpet ,works well but will need several applications – it did not help that I did not know the source of the odour but guessed it was a pet odour. Figured enzyme cleaner would work after studying internet on how to remove odours from carpet.

I was ready to throw out a 12×10 Chinese wool rug as nothing stopped the smell from my Dog. He repeatedly returned, despite supervision, and added more so the ammonia smell built up and was dreadful. I even resorted to using polythene sheeting to block him but the smell just built up. …a loosing battle. Well, as a last ditch try I used this over a couple of weeks on the top then a week later on the back and then repeated so it had opportunity to work then dry out….i was amazed. The rug is back in full use with no evidence of evil smells passing the direct nose test and the dog has not revisited for some months since I last sprayed. It might seem expensive to purchase on the face of it but it is so worth it and ultimately the cost is nothing given the cost of replacing a rug. It is simply wonderful not to have the stench that even steaming or bicarbonate of soda or washing powder could not touch Oh and the colour is back to pale green. I can not praise this enough.

I prefer using disinfectant. Smells nicer and kills germs. This product has not deterred my puppy for returning to the same spot to do her business.
