Nice slow feeder bowl
I really like this bowl. We bought the small size for our Shihtzu because she eats way too fast. We have tried a couple of other bowls and this one is great! Just the right size, no sharp lines for food to get stuck in, nice weight and doesnât slide, and easy to clean. It slows her down but it doesnât take her forever to get done. Nice bowl!

I used a different slow feeder yesterday and by looking at it and seeing the reactions of my dog who ate as much as she could then just stood there and barked at it because of the food she couldn’t get out. Looking at the bowl I could see why. It had so many bumps it was maddening even for me watching her. So today I received this new feeder and it only has 3 raised bumps inside making it much more satisfying for her to eat from. If I was a dog this would be what I would want. It still took her 3 times longer than eating without the bowl. But it was enjoyable and not misery for the dog. She had become overweight from scarfing down her meal and then I would feel bad and give her more food. Now mealtime is a normal pleasure for her. So she may start losing weight. It has 2 cut outs on the bottom/ sides which makes it easier to pick up. I truly do love these bowls.

This is a well-made bowl with three key features. First, it has three protrusions in the center of that help slow the voracious feeding pup. Also, it has a nice rubber non-slip base ring that serves to keep the bowl firmly on the floor. And finally, it has two finger cut outs along the base that really help when it’s time to pick the bowl up from the smooth floor. Combined with it’s solid heft, the bowl does its job quite well. I deduct one star because it is no longer available in purple, which is my rescue pup Pixie’s color. She’ll make due with pink for awhile.

Great bowl for Big Dogs
This bowl is really good , solid, no slip bottom, is about 3in high, & 2 1/2in deep… works perfectly with my 110lb doggo.. no complaints, & would recommend. Alot of the other bowls I looked at were so tiny only an inch off the ground.. not for a large dog..

I bought this for my little piglet Pekingese, and this has slowed her feedings from about 1 minute to 10+ minutes. However, the protrusions in the center may be a little tall for her short-non-exisitent snout to get in there. I wish these dishes were more affordable, as I also have a Springer and Pomeranian who scarf their food down in 30 seconds, and I worry so much about bloat with all of them!!! If this dish wasn’t so small, I would give it a shot with the Springer!*EDIT: Months later, she has figured out how this dish works and is now eating her meals from in in 4 – 5 minutes. So, it’s still slow enough that I’m not worried. She smashes her smudgy face into it, and I can hear her snorting sometimes when she’s getting towards the bottom of the dish. It doesn’t hurt her; it’s just a bit more challenging for her with her almost flat face.I’ve had no problem with it breaking or shattering, or sliding across the floor as others have. Of course, with a mellow yellow 9 lb dog, the dish doesn’t see much action.I still recommend it, especially at this price! Other similar well known brands that I’ve seen in stores are way bigger (even the smallest looks HUGE compared to this neat little bowl) and twice the price or more.

I have a 6 lb Morkie who LOVES her food. So much so that we couldnât even count to ten from when we put the food in her dish, to when she was crying for more (yes, she gets enough food). My brother recommended a slow feed dish. I got this and it works like a charm. She still acts like she is in the olympics and is looking to set a new world record on eating the fastest, but we can count to 30 now and she isnât crying for more food after she eats. I wish I would have had this in the beginning. Its a very sturdy bowl and aesthetically pleasing. Easy to wash as it only has 3 mounds in it. You could put it in the top drawer of the dishwasher if you please.

Perfect for our Basenji who was eating too fast (then puking). Its a heavy bowl with a rubber strip on the bottom so it doesn’t slip around. Not difficult to clean either. Highly recommend! Worth the price
