Fits, looks good.
Bought this particular vest because I needed the handle across the shoulders rather than lengthwise like so many others. It works great, and it is so adjustable it fits comfortably. I was skeptical about their size chart because I have a medium height medium build shorthair, but once you get all the straps adjusted, youâre all set!

Very sturdy and official looking
This vest is great! Before we had one of those smaller orange ones that just sort of drapes over and fastens under dog’s chest. People kept running up to my husband’s service dog and petting him. We also had constant issues taking him into places and having employees demand that we show his “service dog papers” or trying to get us to leave. We got this one and I guess it is more official looking because we have had a lot less issues with people coming up and petting him and not one obnoxious employee has harassed us in public since. Be warned that it does sort of have a military look. Several people have automatically assumed my husband was in the military just because of the look of the vest.

Sturdy – as in Heavy Duty… maybe too sturdy.
I ordered the wrong size, so I’ll need to make the switch – but this is a sturdy and well made harness. I’m not sure all the straps and velcro will be worth the trouble, but there is nothing actually wrong with the product. It will require some trial and error fitting, extra strap webbing may need to be trimmed and tucked away. The product is bulky for my teeny tiny terrier… time will tell if he likes his SWAT harness.It may be that a lighter more compact harness will be needed.

XL disappointment
I just received this item and immediately put it on my Chocolate Lab.Pros: Appears to be well sewn and durable fabric. (I will update with use and time)Cons: The XL has no added fabric for coverage. It appears the XL simply has longer straps. I say this because I cannot use the velco front fasteners due to the straps are much longer than the fabric given. The back and side area only cover his back, so all patches are now riding on his spine…really no need for patching both sides since all on top anyway. With the lack of proper fabric/material for a larger breed, it makes the fit awkward and I can see this not being comfortable for too long at risk of creating rub sores.I’m disappointed in the products fit, as it does not fit as they illustrate. The XL needs more material for the canines to have a comfortable wear while working long hours. I do not recommend this for Labs or larg breeds as they are made as of this time in mid 2022. I will use it until I can get another one fit for my dog, in-person, and will update this review with what use it gets.

Good harness, adjustable fit
I own a 6 lb. Yorkshire Terrier service animal. The vest is size X-Small and fits perfectly. It is adjustable to larger sizes so she might grow some more and be OK with it. The harness is a no pull harness that is padded. She appears very comfortable with. I like the handle because it is useful for quick access. She looks like a military police dog when we go on trips together. It looks cool, thank you!

I love it so much I got 2…
I got one for both my new rescue pups that are being trained to be a service dog for disabled veterans and I love them. They are perfect. I was able to make them smaller to fit them yet they will still fit them for a while as they grow. They are durable and definitely made very well. I love how they come with good patches and how they have big heavy duty buckles so I know thru will last. When they outgrow these ones I will definitely be purchasing the larger ones. I absolutely recommend these for anyone whoâs looking for ones that will last and hold up to a active puppy

Got a XS for my cats so fits great with Felines and cats if theyâre use to harnesses and vest (took a full day of in house use to get use to and comfortable with) , make sure you size before you get but these are all adjustable. I cut the adjustment straps a bit shorter because I donât need that much slack and the extra just hangs in the way , but thatâs personal choice
