Its quiet, cheap, and keeps my laptop nice and cool
My laptop has a pretty high end graphics card, and anytime I play any kind of video or game on it, the internal fan maxes out and it still feels hot to the touch. With this cooling pad the internal fan never comes on, and the chassis feels room temp. Its a little on the bulky side, and the last one I had developed a very loud buzzing noise that made it impossible to use, but it worked like a champ for almost 3 years, so I bought another one (this is my second). Very good product, would buy again.

Loud and just barely fits 16″ laptop
My laptop is a 16″ Lenovo yoga and it hangs off of the front and back. Fine for a tabletop but not for a lap-desk. It’s loud enough that I want to wear earbuds. It’s functional for my needs, but I’m not thrilled at all. The fans help cool the laptop so three stars for that.

Don’t waste your time or money on this!!!
We bought 2 of these to keep our new Surface 3 laptops cool while in use. The first one worked fine for all of 3 minutes then one of the fans just quit then the other one started making a noise and started sticking, I decided to return it but not before trying both of them on our laptops The second one had a similar issue then got loud and one of the fans on the second one quit as well.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! These are the worst items we have ever ordered from Amazon and we’re shocked we had this issue. It’s a horrible cheaply built item very surprised Amazon would even sell such crappy product.

I’ll keep this review simple. To those who own a thinline laptop with poor thermal distributions, get this particular fan. I purchased other ones before, but they are big, they are ugly and quite frankly, don’t work well.My computer is an 13inch M2 Apple Macbook Air and those things are notorious for running hot, and the computer clocking down on the CPU performance.This is a perfect for the summer. Keep your laptops optimal without it sitting on an ugly cooling pad. The size is perfect, the fan is silent and the design simply works.

Meh…average at best performance
Using with TUF gaming laptop with 4070 gpu and it doesn’t seem to help cool much if any. Best guess is maybe a 20% cooling effect vs not having it. Fans don’t line up that well with vents in bottom of laptop, it uses old style Mini USB connector on mat side of connector, so having a replacement just laying around vs having to go buy another one if lost or damaged is a sure thing. If using a gaming laptop I would look for something better.
