Lotta harness here – medium size maybe better for bigger dogs?
My new 16 pound pup is a unicorn of sorts – actually, she’s more of a Corvette – lean, muscular body and legs for days, so she looks bigger, but has the bird bones, apparently. Fitting a harness to her is quite the challenge, especially given her inclinations to escape (which is 100% why I was able to adopt her at the shelter).This Therapy Dog Vest & 10 Patches Set, Bestalk Reflective Service Dog in Training Vest, No Pull Emotional Support Dog Har harness with lots of available patches for any role your dog might take is built well and might be a great solution for us once she fills out a bit (and she will, given the quality food she’s getting).Anyone who’s gone harness shopping knows this is a common conundrum, so zero issues with this product or this seller. It just seems harness sizes aren’t necessarily universal.In the medium, hardware leans toward the larger side. I probably should have ordered the small and sized up. The medium will fit her loosely, so she’ll need to grow into it a little bit. When I ordered, we’d yet to go to the vet for her first check-up, so I didn’t realize she was a svelte 16 pounds (she doesn’t LOOK like 16 pounds), nor had I burned through two more harnesses that didn’t quite fit from the pet store.I will and would trust this harness to handle my dog once she’s sized up to it, and I think you can, too.It’s built well with sturdy connections and sturdy loops for either front or back attachment.The patches are highly visible and easy to read (not that people will and heed, but they are readable).Looks to be a harness that will hold up for many years.There’s a bit to it – your heavier dogs might carry this with no issue. My pup acted like I’d loaded her up like a pack mule, but to be fair, when you’re that light and that fast, you don’t necessarily want anything slowing you down. It’s why you don’t use a Corvette to haul a king-sized mattress.For most meaty dogs, you’ll be great. Just be sure to measure, measure – it fits true to size – and also know some poundage before you order. I didn’t, so we’ll keep it in the “future apparel” drawer for now.

Don’t Try This Harness If You Need Labels
The quality and sizing seem all right but there’s a problem that is causing me to return the product: It’s for my service dog and includes labels such as “Service Dog” and “In Training,” etc. But the two areas on the sides of the harness that have Velcro, where one is supposed to be able to attach a label, are so short that the labels stick out about 2″ farther than the Velcro.

Good Quality
Dog harnesses come in all different materials. This dog harness is made of a thick study material. The velcro patches are also made of good quality. This harness seems to be made to last. It is also durable to go through a washing machine (I did hang to dry as I do most things) My dog is 9 pounds and I decided to get the small. It is slightly big. I think the XS would have fit him better. Overall a great product.
