Great lifejacket – has made our pup a swimmer
This has been a great swim aid for our dog. At the beginning of the summer, he wouldn’t enter into the pool on his own. Once we used this with him, he got comfortable swimming around and even began to jump in without motivation. Flash forward a month and now he’s swimming even without it!It kept our blue heeler (medium size, 45lbs) perfectly buoyant and was secure without being tight or noticeably uncomfortable for him.Important – while just letting him swim in the pool with our supervision was fine, I’m not totally confident in recommending it for something like the ocean or water with a current. it’s durable enough for our light use, but I wouldn’t trust the non-reinforced stitching if I had to frequently pull his whole weight or more with the handle/straps.But overall, it’s been a great learning aid for our heeler, at a good price.

Perfect for My Little Dog
We just moved into a home that has a pool. We’ve also got two small dogs that are not so fond of the water. I’ve been working with the 12 pound chihuahua/minpin to get him used to the water. He doesn’t like just going in naked, so I picked up this vest for him. It’s a perfect fit! Very well made and super cute to boot, I think this will last him forever. Plus, it’s not too heavy for my light weight dog. If you’ve ever worried about your dog around water do yourself a favor and get them a life vest. This one is worth every penny!

Keep your fur babies safe in the water
The ThinkPet dog life jacket has been a lifesaver, literally. Our fur baby LOVES the water, and his ears don’t seem to work when he is around a lake or pool, because it is apparently impossible for that boy to hear us call him! We were out on a boat last weekend, and he was wearing his life jacket. Good thing, because he got a little further away from us than we prefer, but he was able to swim back to us and not tire out. The design of the life jacket allows for full range of movement in the water and the reflective material makes it easy to keep an eye on him and see where he is at all times. The handle on the top makes it easy to get him in and out of the water. The only thing I wish it had was a neck/chin float to help keep his head up (not enough to remove a star). At the end of the day, it worked extremely well, and kept our boy safe.

Very adjustable.
My dog likes this life vest because it doesn’t restrict her movement and can be put on quickly. I like it because it keeps her buoyant and safe. The bright colors and reflective edges help make it easy to spot her. I measured her before choosing the size which resulted in a good fit. There are also several ways to adjust the fit if needed.
