Great for tall jars
My husband got me one of these jar spatulas for my Christmas stocking and I love this thing! It makes getting peanut butter and other foods out of jars easy, and works for the taller jars. I like it so much, I bought several for gifts. Itâs well-made and works well. A good price on Amazon.

I’ve been searching for a small, versatile spatula for ages, and this one fits the bill perfectly. My desert-island kitchen tool, and my favorite homemade fudge-making tool
I wanted to make sure this scooper/stirrer/scraper wouldn’t fail me after many uses, so I waited until I had owned and beat up on it it for about a year before writing this review. After a year of using it for everything from getting the last of the peanut butter or honey out of the jar, to spreading frosting, to making scrambled eggs, to being the one and only tool I need to make homemade chocolate fudge, it looks and feels just like new. It’s better than a butter knife for scraping the last bits of anything gooey out of cans or jars because it has more surface area, has a slight amount of give to deal with irregularly shaped cans or jars, and is much easier to scrape off and clean than a metal knife. It’s also more comfortable to hold in my hand vertically – knives are basically made to be held horizontally while this is great as a stirrer – or in any other application where you are holding it more or less straight up and down. In fact, when I make homemade fudge I use it to get all the sweetened condensed milk out of the can, then I use it to stir the fudge while it is cooking, and then to get the fudge out of the pot and lay it out to cool. So much more efficient than multiple spoons and knives! It cleans up easily even from very sticky things – just dish soap and warm water. I haven’t tried putting it in the dishwasher because by the time I rinse it off, it is so clean it seems pointless to do anything more than let it air dry before I use it again. Medium high stove heat doesn’t seem to bother this tool at all, and because of its shape and (slight) “give”/flexibility it does a much better job than spoons as a stirrer for keeping things from getting stuck to/burnt on the bottom of pots. It feels like I can really get at the bottom of a potful of anything thick (like fudge) and avoid the hotspots I seemed to get when I used spoons for this purpose. The purple color is an added bonus – a fun way to brighten up all kinds of kitchen chores. If I could only have one tool for all kinds of food preparation, this would be it.

Efficient scoop/scraper
The red end has a slight flex which is very good at scraping the last out of a jar or spreading fillings on bread. I do wish that the middle section was a bit longer or that the flat end was just a handle. Still I am using it a lot.

Had a the larger one and itâs the most used utensil in the kitchen. Thought this would compliment it well. These stir and scrape wonderfully and clean up so well. Scraped shredded carrots from food processor and no stains at all! Love it!

Strong, sleek, super!
Purchased in the âSmallâ (8â). I just finished writing four reviews of products I couldnât give more than 3 stars to; maybe I am super picky but lately so much of what I buy ends up really disappointing me. But this dandy little tool from Tovolo is not one of them! So far I have exclusively used it to scrape out whatever deliciousness is lurking under my mini food processorâs blades or for stubborn/thicker foods on the sides of the bowl. It is very stiff and rather narrow and so if youâre looking for something more flexible or with a wider footprint, Iâd recommend just sticking to a true spatula. But since I have oodles of bendy utensils, ones I grab more to aid in guiding/pouring rather than true scraping, a small and firm âpusherâ was definitely needed for my kitchen. I have *not* attempted to slice with it nor have I used it for spreading anythingâI admit I tend to use a dedicated tool for each of those specific jobs. But if youâre low on kitchen tools and want more bang for the buck, this certainly would fit the bill as a multi-tasker. (I am a little confused why this is rated as a #1 Tovolo tool for âice cream scoopersâ as this it isnât the thing I would personally choose out to scoop ice cream. Multi-tasker and very, very handy? Yes! To replace a traditional ice cream scooper? Probably not. But removing every little nibble of peanut butter left in the jar? Oh, this tool is made for it!)The quality is excellent, it didnât arrive with any off putting odors like so many things these days do, and is sized perfectly for my needs (the Small version is just 8â so make sure you note the dimensions). Iâve run it through the dishwasher with no problems. Very happy with the purchase and foresee having this a long time! Also, an absolutely perfect stocking stuffer for any cook, young or old!

Great for Creami containers
I bought this to stir and use with my Ninja Creami containers, so that the sides would not get scraped by metal tools. Perfect size for this, and has many other uses. I try to avoid getting too many extra kitchen tools/gadgets that I have to find a place to store, but this little tool is totally worth it. The flexible end isn’t super flexible, which is good because it still has the strength you need to stir and scrape things, but it’s still flexible enough to scrape something clean.

I have many of these Tovolo scrapers in different colours. They are great for almost anything that needs stirring or mixing, not just to get the remnants out of the bottom of a jar. Dishwasher safe, but just as easy to wash quickly with a bit of soap. You canât go wrong

Saw this on a FB post that someone raved about how good it was for working with their sourdough starter. Thought it a bit pricey but figured Iâd try. It works great to scrap down the starter jar so your fill line is clear to gauge your starter rise/activity. I recommend
