Five Paws Up For This Slow Feeder/Treat Dispenser
This compact small feeder holds 2 cups of kibble easily. With the adjustable size openings at both the top and bottom of the feeder, the kibble easily; but not too quickly, falls out when nudged or pawed. To ensure a challenge, I’ve adjusted the top opening to the larger hole and the bottom opening to the smaller hole. It’s a fun way to feed your fur babies, making breakfast and/or dinner time interactive and fun!Through many times being dropped, pawed and nudged, the feeder did just fine! It’s rugged and sturdy! This feeder comes apart and is very easy to hand wash. Also, because of its compact size it fits nicely on the top shelf of the dishwasher, too!I like the design of this feeder so much, I’ve already ordered a second one!

Sturdy and well designed
I got this GDSHAPE food/treat dispenser for my foster cat, who turns into a crazed food-obsessed monster whenever he thinks that food is near. The web page seems more dog-focused, although it does say âSuitable for all dogs and catsâ in the âProduct informationâ section. The included instruction sheet (âPRODUCT MANUALâ) says that the product name is âSuper Ball Dog Treat Dispenser Toyâ. Most of the instructions refer only to dogs, but it eventually says âIt supports dogs of various sizes and can also be used by some catsâ, so I wondered whether my foster cat would be one of those.I neednât have worried. I canât take a picture of this food/treat dispenser, because the cat will go crazy and think Iâm putting goodies in it.This product is easy to use, and it’s easy to adjust the opening sizes. For me, the best thing is the shape, because it doesnât roll in a straight line, and itâs not going to travel very far. Not long ago, I got a different dispenser, one that with the shape of a round ball. After the cat had his way with it, I couldnât find it, because it was too easy to just roll away and into another room.So far, Iâve been able to find this GDSHAPE dispenser easily after the cat is through with it. I don’t know whether the cat thinks it’s fun, since my bet is that he would rather just scarf down a big bowl of kibble, but heâd eat too much (and too much at once) that way, so this keeps him occupied a lot longer.

Quality not for big chewers
My dog quickly figured out how to remove the cap and chewed the plastic. Not impressed by the quality.

Hard to clean
While this provided about an hour worth of entertainment for our lab pup, it does get very slimy quickly, and the treats started to get stuck because of all the saliva in the holes. It was a bit difficult to clean all the edges and small bits, so we just left it to soak in detergent and hot water for a few hours, which thankfully did the trick.

Stops dogs from scarfing
This toy looked like a cool way to help my small dog to eat her kibble slowly, and have fun doing it. I like the ability to adjust how much food is dispensed at one time. The dispenser is easy to open and fill with dog food, but it would not likely to hold enough food for larger breeds. I think that varying how fast the food comes out from one feeding to the next could be more of a challenge.Due to the difference in size between the two spheres, the food dispenser tends to veer off to the left or right as my dog nudges it with their nose or paw to get food. When the dispenser encounters a wall or other immovable object, even my smart dog is unable to get it dislodged without help to realign it. I think it would work better if the dog toy came in two sizes, one for larger dogs, and one for smaller. If the globes were the same size, they would be less likely to veer off, and would be less frustrating for dogs and adults who had to reposition the toy. However, the dog toy is very successful in keeping a dog from gobbling up their food too quickly.Good for small to medium sized dogs

Not for my Bordoodle
Although it appears well-designed, my dog figured out how to unscrew the caps within about 15 minutes. Maybe she got frustrated because I made the dispensing holes smaller when she was getting the kibble out very quickly when wide open.Maybe she saw me twisting the cap off. I’m not sure. However, now that she knows the caps screw off, she goes for that right away. Why mess around and delay the reward by rolling the toy around? Most dogs probably won’t figure that out. Mine needs at least something like child-proof caps. These aren’t that.

Fully adjustable treat dispensing toy
**My Rhodesian loves this. **This is a pretty durable treat dispensing toy that lets you fully adjust how big the holes are. It will dispense treats up to about 3/4 of an inch long by half an inch wide, or down to the smallest of treats. It’s not completely spherical so instead of rolling around the house it just sort of spins, unless your dog really put the foot on it too slide it around like mine does. Because this doesn’t distribute all the treats at one time, it does last for good long time. It’s also fairly durable. She’s really tried to chew into it and while it has left a couple of grooves she hasn’t been able to break it yet.

My doggo loves it
I have a boxer baby with separation anxiety, so keeping her entertained while I am away is very important. She was kicking it around the house pretty good and biting on it, and it hasn’t cracked or shown any marks. She wasn’t hardcore chewing on it, but she wasn’t being gentle, either. I love that you can adjust the difficulty of the toy and it didn’t take her long to figure out how to get her treats. This is definitely going to be a frequently used toy.
