This TRIXIE Camping Cot (sized for medium to large dogs) was a cinch to set up, and comes with a carrying bag. After opening the frame and velcroing the four corners of the pad onto it, I went to grab my camera to snap a picture, and turned back in time to see our 3-year old 65-lb husky/lab mix hop in, turn ’round and ’round, and plop right down in the center.I got this bed for our older dog so she could be up off the cold floor this winter. So far, she has not had a chance to try it out. It is almost continuously occupied by the younger dog or the cat, who bosses them both around.The pad or mattress is lightly stuffed and has some give to it – it’s not stiff like some dog beds. The outer material is a polyester canvas, and although not waterproof, it’s somewhat resistant. A tablespoon of water beaded up before eventually soaking in. It can be spot-cleaned with a wet rag, but if your dog “leaks” it will need to be soaked. Instructions say to hand wash. It would take awhile to air dry.The is designed as a travel bed, but it is sturdy enough for daily use.

This is nice, it sets up super easy.The fabric is soft and somewhat velvety feeling.Its a little hard for our English Bulldog to get up into it.She tries to step in and doesn’t try to hop or jump in so it starts to tip over when her first paw puts all the weight into that one section.A lot like us humans who struggle to get into a hammock.It’s compact and small but still big enough for her to relax in.She likes sitting up a little higher than a regular bed allows her.The fact that it is so easy to transport and that it takes up very little space when being stored or transported is a plus.This camping cot for dogs is a great quality item that should last several years.

My puppy’s favorite seat
I got this for my Frenchie to lay in when she’s hanging out on my screened in porch, and she loves it even more than I thought was possible. She zoomies around the porch to build up speed and launches herself into this with enough force that she makes it skid across the floor. Other times she just loves rolling around on her back, playing with whatever toy she has at hand. I’ve even caught her sleeping in it once or twice. I’m pretty sure I’ll have to bring it inside when it gets too cold to hang out on the porch because she loves it so much!

Awesome Dog Cot, My Dogs Love It
This camping dog cot is awesome, my dogs love it. I got mine for my dogs to enjoy as an alternative warmer bed as the weather is starting to get colder. I noticed there regular vented dog cots are becoming a bit cold for them to sit on during the day, so this bed which is not vented, is a warmer option for them to sit on during the day when they go outside to play.This dog cot is very well made, it has a good quality fold up frame, it has a quality cover that can slip on and off easily, it is also very easy to clean. The dog cot folds up and fits inside a carry bag, see attached photos.I cannot say enough good things about this dog cot, It may be advertised for camping but I think it will work very well for regular daily use too. My dogs take turns to use this cot during the day when they go outside to play. I would give this product a 6 star rating.

The cat, the dog, and the 8 year kid old all like this.
This is very easy to set up and store. The canvas part is also padded, which will add some insulation and comfort.I got the larger one and it is a good size for most medium sized dogs, say less than 60 pounds. It is rated at 80 pounds.After I put it together, my 8 year old immediately grabbed a blanket and curled up on it and watched TV…. then the cat joined him. He is a strange kid…. but he said it was comfortable.I’ve caught both the cat and dog napping it in since I had received it. I have not intended this for use in the house, but rather for camping and travel, but it is being utilized pretty regularly for the time being. lolThe canvas material feels well made and the frame is sturdy. The carry case is a bit flimsy.I’d recommend this.
