Excellent stimulation for treats
I thought this might be a little difficult for my 8 week old puppy and my cat to figure out but both of them figured it out in record time. I just used my finger to show them what to do and they went right to it. They have fun twirling the little bottles around and getting a treat for their effort. I think it’s important to have puzzles for our fur family to figure out. It keeps a healthy brain. I would recommend this. It might be a bit small for larger breeds but will work for extra small to medium breeds.

Updated 5/2020: I decided to update this review because I feel like we’ve really put it to the test! This is still one of our favorites for a few reasons: durability (I haven’t had to tighten or adjust this puzzle even after some rough play sessions), easy to clean, it’s quiet, no pieces to collect or keep track of, and is also really easy to load up. My 3 year old loves to help and then watch our dog solve his puzzle. He tries to cheat with some puzzles by tipping or knocking them over but the shape of this one encourages him to solve it upright. If I need to keep him busy for an extra few minutes I’ll put one or two treats that are just barely too big to fit through the hole (yes- so he can’t actually get it out) and then after a few minutes I put the puzzle up and give him that last piece. I’ve done this with the Kong Wobbler also- to prevent the treats from coming out too easily and also because my dog solves everything so fast! Obviously, still very happy with this purchase!——We have a TON of dog puzzles and this is one of our favorites! Even though my dog figured out how it worked pretty quickly, it’s still a challenge because the tubes keep spinning around. I was worried about stability because my dog will try to just flip the puzzle over if he can, but this is very stable! There is a small amount of assembly required (just 4 small screws to secure the base to the legs). The tubes come with two different tops- one with a large opening and one with three small openings. Very happy with this purchase!

Fun Toy!
My dog loves it. It took him about 10 minutes to get the hang of it, but by the second time we broke it out, he fully understood how to get his treats out. He loves it!

Nice toy – great for medium sized, savvy dogs but a little small for a giant breed
I really like this toy. It is different enough from other toys on the market that my 38 lb Chow mix, who was VERY savvy about various work to eat toys, found it a novel challenge. I love that the toy comes with different style caps so you can adjust the difficulty level as the dog gets better at the task. For dogs who are just trying it for the first time, you may want to leave the lids off entirely until the dogs gets the hang of the game. I would not recommend this toy for rookies at work-to-eat toys, it’s pretty advanced for most of the dogs I’ve introduced it to (I have tried it with lots of my dog training clients’ dogs). If you introduce a toy like this early on in teaching your dog to interact with WTE toys, they may get frustrated and give up.This toy disassembles for very easy cleaning, and I put the cups right into my dishwasher.For dogs that are not paw oriented, you may need to teach them how to use this. My Saint Bernard is easily frustrated and quickly gave up on this toy, so I had to pull out my clicker and use it to actually teach him to paw target the cups through shaping. My shaping plan worked out to be:* Click for looking at it* Click for approaching it* Click for sniffing* Click for nosing(tiny extinction burst when I started waiting for the next criteria)* Click for any lifting of paw* Click for paw contact* Click for any tilting* Click for tippingAfter that, he was tipping it on his own and was largely self-sufficient when playing with this.I will say that this toy is very lightweight, so it’s pretty easy for a dog to knock it over on the side. I would like this a lot better if the bottom were weighted for more stability.This was the perfect size for my 38 lb Chow mix, but is a little smaller than I’d like for my Saint – I have to fill the cups pretty often for him! I have seen on Facebook some links for DIY toys which are very similar to this one, and I may try one of those to see if I can make this in a larger size more appropriate for a giant breed dog.

I bought this for my Australian Cattle Dog. Even though she figured it out within minutes, she had a blast working out the challenge, and found it super rewarding. Cut your treats small, sometimes bigger ones get stuck on the bar on the way out of the tubes. If your dog loses motivation, use something higher value. Otherwise it’s an amazing toy, and both my dog and I give it 5 stars! Even my clients’ dogs love it.

Je vais plutôt donner mon avis sur la qualité du produit que sur son utilité car depuis 1 semaine mon chien fait travailler ses méninges en vain 😂.Il tiens super bien debout malgré les tentatives d’enlèvements que ma chienne lui fait subir. Ses pieds lourds vissés au plateau permettent un très bon maintien.Les tubes ne sont pas fragiles et résistent aux machouillages répétés. Ils tournent très facilementLes deux types d’embouts permettent une difficulté différenteJe recommande en espérant pour ma part que le coup de patte vienne avec le temps (sans être assistée de préférence 🥲)
