This is an excellent, thick and durable air mattress that’s well-made, with its own built-in pump that plugs into any standard US outlet, and will inflate or deflate the mattress with minimal noise in just about 3 to 4 minutes. The mattress has a nice velvet flocked top so if you’re in a rush you could feasibly use it without a cover though I can’t say I’d recommend that. It looks great and it easily inflates, and it held up my weight over a whole night (and I’m a tall man) so it should be able to hold any adult or even 2 of most adults. It’s also quite light and it is easy to pack up and store when you’re not using it. It also comes with a bag to store it in, and a little patch you can use if you poke a hole in the mattress.There are some minor downsides to this mattress. It’s very thick at 18 inches tall, so you’ll need very tall/deep sheets if you want it covered. It requires a standard US outlet in order to fill it or deflate it – you cannot use your own pump or blow it up manually. That makes it unsuitable for camping or hiking, unless you have a generator with you, but like the description says it’s made for in-home use, it’s too large for almost any tent or RV once inflated.The mattress inflates easily with the built-in electric pump, which inflates it in between 3 and 4 minutes. I only had to re-inflate it once during the first night, which is expected with any new air mattress because the plastic has to stretch to its final size. And I’m a tall man, so I believe its listed weight capacity which is listed as 550 pounds.The built-in pump is the only way to inflate or deflate this air mattress – there’s no other way to get the air in or out. The cord is about 5 feet long, and is stored in the hard plastic built-in container that’s hidden inside the mattress while inflated. The pump plugs into any standard wall outlet, and all you have to do is turn the little switch on the box that turns from “off” to “inflate” or “deflate” to fill the mattress up or deflate it. It’s quite quick, at about 3 to 4 minutes from flat to full, and it’s just about as loud as a standard vacuum cleaner.Overall, this is a great air mattress for use in the house any time you might need an air mattress, and I recommend it as long as you can handle a mattress that needs a wall outlet to inflate or deflate.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things – the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. Nice, Easy, Comfortable Bed
I have a twin size inflatable bed that I paid over $100.00 for, and which developed a leak after three uses, which was disappointing to say the least. However, the company guaranteed the product for five years and sent me a new one at no charge. There are differences beyond those facts and this full size bed, hopefully. For one thing, there is one control knob on this bed and it is simple to inflate and deflate: turn to the right to inflate, middle to turn off, left to deflate. My other bed has two knobs and itâs not simple to complete either function. Like the other, the cord stores in a compartment next to the knob, but this cord is longer and that is a definite plus! I use a surge protector power strip on the floor for the connection. I have to say that this hasnât risen to 18â yet, even with the higher side rail; Itâs more like 17â. The height of a chair seat is usually 18 or so inches, so this bed is much easier to get on and off of, even for older guests. Iâm showing a full size, deep pocket sheet on the full size bed and the all-around elastic fits in a groove around the bottom of the mattress, helping secure the sheet. The velour-type top holds the sheet as well. My grandchildren said it is comfortable and there will be a sleepover in two days so Iâll update this review if there is a change in opinion. For now Iâll leave it up to stretch so the bed will be ready. Compared to my twin bed I referenced earlier, this full bed is a great value for the money. I used a stopwatch on my watch and it took 2 min and 10 seconds to inflate.
