Good for dogs
At first, I was hesitant about getting a training collar because Iâm usually pretty gentle with my pets. However, I recently adopted a 2-year-old Chihuahua rescue, and while he gets along with my 4-year-old cat, things werenât going so smoothly. Whenever he saw the cat, he would bark like crazy and wouldnât stop until he scared my kitty off. It eventually got to the point where my poor cat was losing weight from all the stress. After thinking it over carefully, I decided to try out two training collars to see if theyâd help. When the collars arrived, the fit for my Chihuahua was good, but the strap definitely needed some trimming. The extra length, which I assume is to accommodate bigger dogs, was more than necessary for my little guy. Fortunately, setting everything up wasnât too difficult, although it did take me about an hour to go through the instructions and get the collars ready. Interestingly, I didnât charge the collar initially and was still able to use it for about two days before it needed a recharge. Now, after fully charging it, itâs been three days and the battery is still going strong. As for the collarâs features, it comes with three modes: beep, vibrate, and shock. I mainly bought it for the first two because Iâm not even considering using the shock function. Given that my Chihuahua had already been through so much before I adopted him, the last thing I want is to cause him more distress. Thankfully, the beep catches his attention well, and the vibrate reinforces the âQuietâ command without any discomfort. So far, these two modes have worked perfectly, and I havenât had to consider the shock at all. Now, whenever the beep goes off, heâs much more aware, and if I use the vibrate function while saying âQuiet,â itâs like giving him a little nudge. Over the past few days, Iâve only been putting the collar on him when I leave the house. He still barks when someone comes to the door, which I donât mindâthatâs normal dog behavior. However, the collar has really helped control the barking when heâs home alone, and itâs reinforced his training without stressing him out. Additionally, his interactions with my cat have improved too. Heâs not barking at her as much anymore, and they seem to be getting along better now.

Great for small dogs!
As a dog owner with experience using shock collars with multiple dogs over a 25+ year period of time, I feel comfortable giving an honest review of this product. The collar:The collar itself is a basic nylon strap with a buckle much like you’d find on a backpack or belt bag. This is likely suitable for a small dog. The strap is fairly thin and I would not feel comfortable leaving it on a larger dog without supervision. With that being said, this strap will only fit a dog with a neck up to 19 inches so be aware of that. The receiver on the collar is very lightweight and has prongs that can be swapped out depending on your needs. This is great for a smaller dog, but if you’re looking for something rugged for a sporting type breed, this likely is not going to work for you. The receiver is a hard plastic rather than the coated/rubberized receiver you would find on Sport Dog, old Tri-Tronics, or Garmin. Again, suitable for what it is meant for.The transmitter:The transmitter is actually fairly impressive in my mind. The buttons are a bit hard to read without tilting them into the light to see the symbols, but this could be remedied by the company in a future iteration by placing white symbols on the black buttons. This isn’t necessary per-se because you’re likely to get used to where everything it, but it would be handy. The screen is about the size of a quarter and in color. I’m impressed with that part of it. It also comes with a strap that could be worn on the wrist. A belt clip would also be nice in my mind for quicker accessibility, but again, not necessary. The features:Tone: My dogs both are trained to the point that they will respond to the tone on their own collars. When testing the tone on this collar at my desk, my youngest lab made a beeline out of the room. The tone is strong and will get the attention of the dog as is intended.Vibration: You can adjust the level of vibration. At 99, it is almost stronger than my Sport Dog collars. If you have a small dog, you might consider turning this down.Shock: You can lock it so that you never shock your dog. I would also recommend trying the level of shock on yourself by laying your own finger across both prongs before just slapping this on your dog. If you’re going to do it to them, you should know what you’re actually doing. When testing the collar with my finger, I could not even feel the slightest tingle in my finger until the collar was at level 9 for shock. By level 17 it still was not that strong, but on a small dog it doesn’t have to be. The level increases all the way to 99, so use your discretion.Overall:If you own a small dog who could benefit from some correction and you are willing to learn how to use a shock collar correctly and appropriately, this is a good collar for you. If improvements are made to the product in the future, I think it could benefit from a belt clip for the transmitter, a different style strap for the collar itself and maybe even a more durable material for the receiver. This is an expandable system so you can have more than one dog on the same transmitter which is nice. The big limitation is the range of the collar in my mind. It has a range of 1300 feet. This is fine for in the home, the yard, or on walks, but would be lacking in a larger area. With that said, this collar is suitable for its intended purpose and I give it 5 stars overall.

Perfect for Mini Dachshunds â Effective and Safe Training Tool
I purchased this ultra-small collar to train my dachshund, Dallas, and itâs been a fantastic tool! The size is perfect for his petite frameâlightweight and comfortable, so he doesnât seem bothered wearing it during our training sessions or walks. One of the best features is that I havenât had to use the electric stimulation at all. The vibration and beep functions are gentle yet effective for correcting behaviors and getting his attention. It keeps him safe without causing any distress. The adjustable settings also allow me to find the perfect intensity for his sensitivity.Overall, itâs been an invaluable tool for training while ensuring Dallas is comfortable and happy. I highly recommend it for anyone with a small breed like a dachshund whoâs looking for a humane and efficient way to train their pup!

Works great for our Dachshund Pup!
We needed something to correct our 18 month old dachshund from biting our cats and our other small dogs. Hit fit him perfect and will for a very long time (if not forever). Itâs very easy to size and easy to use. The instructions are simple. For the price, itâs a steal! It works perfectly and you can lock the remote. So a button doesnât accidentally get pushed. We really havenât needed to charge it very often at all. The battery lasts a long time. Itâs durable and you can adjust it as your pup gets bigger or if you have a larger dog, it will fit perfect. Another HUGE plus is itâs waterproof!

One of my best friends doesnât have any children and sheâs almost done with the adoption process for a small chihuahua. She always loved animals and initially was hesitant to get one because she lives alone and works late. But with research and friends with experience she is getting her little puppy. I decided to get her a meaningful gift. A gift that can help relieve her worries about training and caring for her soon to be baby pup, once the doggie is of age of course. Another friend who is a dog owner has bought and used the same product. It was highly recommended. Iâm super excited to give my bestie this Christmas gift.

This works really well. I have a small dog who barks, I never used the shock part. I used the sound then vibrate and no barking. I donât have to put it on her now if she hears the sound she stops barking. Excellent product.

No complaints at all so far. My dog is 8 pounds. It fits well, not too bulky on his throat. The command buttons r clearly marked . I like the warning button that can be pushed for an audible prompt for your dog before either vibrate or shock options. This should hopefully aide in training. The magnetic charger is excellent . Overall very satisfied.

This is an innovative product that allows the dog to be alerted in three different ways: vibration, beep, and electric shock. The owner has the choice. The product is somewhat complicated to learn to operate but once you’ve done it, it is easy to continue to use. One issue is that the charger is not USB C, the new standard, but the larger head; thus it does not fit new charging cubes that fit USB C receptacles. In the end, coin batteries rather than outlet charging would have made this easier and you would not have had to worry about losing the charging cord. Also, the instructions do not say that you have to screw in the electric sensors but I figured it out and this was not too difficult to understand intuitively. In the end, I would highly recommend this product as it is very useful and helped to alert my dog appropriately when it was engaging in bad behavior.
