With the curli clasp harness, we present an all-around improved harness that once again raises the industry benchmark to a new level. The new, tighter cut provides improved ergonomics. The harness is now much more supple on the dog’s body. This also distributes the pulling force better and causes less friction. The modern dog harness is super light and yet very robust! Here, compared to the previous model, 20% weight was saved.
3D COMFORT FIT
All our curli harnesses go through a unique design and manufacturing process. The manufacturing method is characterized in particular by the precise processing of multiple layers of fabric.
The 3D shape is created when the extremely precisely cut layers are sewn together, and the cutting patterns are crucial to the 3D shaping. Note that a curli harness never lies completely flat when not worn – this is the hallmark of our 3D Comfort Fit.

Patented curli clasp “Buckle”
The highlight of the new harness is the practical buckle made of high-strength POM material. The patented curli Clasp buckle is enthroned at the very top of the harness and offers the dog owner maximum ease of use.
The modern buckle of the dog harness, with which the leash can be easily attached with one hand, is not only extremely robust and withstands tensile loads of over 70 kg (size 3XS, 2XS, XS, S) or over 100 kg (size M, L, XL), but also reduces the weight of the harness again enormously.
In our tests, the new curli clasp buckles made of nylon withstood loads of over 134 kg./295 lb. By comparison, Zinc-alloy metal buckles are weaker than nylon and will break at 118 kg./260 lb. Plastics like nylon are very reliable and are used, for example, in aeroplanes and ski and snowboard bindings. In other words, wherever safety is a decisive factor.

Optimized fit
Also, the new cut pattern and a new size scale promise improved ergonomics and an ideal fit. Sewn-in straps with higher tension absorption ensure that tension on the leash is now better and more evenly distributed over the harness. The zigzag seams provide flexible tension distribution.
The new, tighter cut provides improved ergonomics and fit. The harness is now much more snugly contoured on the dog’s body. This also distributes the pulling force better and causes less friction. If the harness does not fit in the neck area, you can adjust it with the Velcro fastener.
There are two ways to do this: First, adjust the Velcro closure setting from semi-overlapping to semi-closed. In addition, you can regulate the width of the neck by positioning the Velcro. If you form a triangle to the front with the Velcro from the dog’s point of view, the harness will be wider around the neck. On the other hand, if you form a triangle towards the dog’s back, the harness will be narrower around the neck.

Easy to use, secure, dog-friendly harnesses
I have three of these harnesses now in red, lime green, and fuschia. They are the easiest harnesses to put on my very excited, jumping, squirming dogs, of any Iâve tried – and I have tried a lot. I love how secure they are with the nice wide Velcro plus the leash clasp. I havenât had any issues with them coming loose and my dogs, as I mentioned, are squirmers. They have managed to wiggle themselves out of harnesses in the past, but not these. My dogs also pull on their leashes a lot and these harnesses handle it without an issue. The oldest one I own shows no wear around the stitching at all (I check!).These harnesses also seem dog-friendly in that they seem to be comfortable, they donât dig or rub, my dogs can keep them on for longer periods of time and seem unaware that theyâre even there, which is great.My vet and groomers have all commented on the harnesses my dogs wear, noting that they like how easy they are to put on and take off, and how secure they are.Plus, the colors are fun and vibrant! Thatâs just a nice plus.Overall, a great value for the money, as these perform well, last a long time, and keep your dogs safe and comfy. Highly recommend.

A rare find, a dog harness that people with arthritis can actually unclasp. What a concept!
I love this dog harness; I just received it today and am very pleased with the quality and comfort of it for my mini poodle. He hates even wearing sweaters in the winter, but he took to this harness within a few minutes. I always used a collar before purchasing this harness because I have arthritic hands and after trying numerous harnesses never could get those ridiculous plastic clasps opened. My little Leo seemed to actually like the harness, which surprised me. It’s comfortable, fits him perfectly and no more pulling on his neck if he decides to ambush a chipmunk, one of his favorite games. I’ve spent many hours searching for a harness that I can actually unclasp, I don’t feel that’s too much to ask. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have finally found one for my arthritic hands! Thank you, Curli, for thinking of those of us who have arthritis or other issues with their hands. I don’t know why more sellers don’t bother to take that into consideration. All the other harnesses I tried have the same type difficult to open clasps if your fingers are unable to apply a lot of pressure. Perfect Swiss harness!
My daughter lives in Switzerland. When I was visiting with my Yorkie in September I noticed her dog had several Curli harness in various colors. I had to see if they had a size to fit my tiny Yorkie so we visited one of the many pet stores. I found a perfect xxs harness for my Cooper! It is the best quality and easiest harness I’ve ever found for him. There’s nothing like it in the US. When she sent me a Sniffany and Co leash at Christmas for him, I had to find him another Curli harness to match because their leash is a perfect match with the Curli harness. I was thrilled to see tge Curli on Amazon! I will definitely be buying more so my Cooper can have a wardrobe of Curli harness like her dog has. Lightweight and comfortable for my dog
This harness is made of really lightweight mesh, which is important for us as we live in Hawaii. It is well made, and very easy to clip on and release. Unfortunately, I accidentally trod on the harness and broke the clasp, but I like the harness so much that I have ordered it again. Recommended.

Light weight, well made and great for a timid dog
I have a 6 lb rescue dog who had a very difficult history before we adopted her—the “snap” on most harnesses make a loud sound when opening and closing that terrifies her which makes taking a walk a disaster.This great little Curli harness is light weight but still very capable and protective (so far no signs she will be able to shrug out of it when she panics and pulls) and the clasp is perfect—light wight and whisper quiet so it doesn’t startle her and make that loud “click” when taking it on / off.Also love the many tiny sizes available from this company—can be challenging to find a durable harness for a dog under 8 lbs but they go XXS.For the first time since we’ve brought her home she isn’t fearful when she see’s her harness come out and for a dog with such a challenging past that means the world to us.

Defective product beware of where you buy from
Product is a five star, reseller is a zero. Bought from seller beyond your home, when I google the business address, it shows a shipping store (fed ex, ups, notary) in a run down area. The product had a second tag over the original curli label. It was probably someone who buys pallets of amazon Return and is selling defective item. It is going back. The clasp does not work.Buy from curli as a seller, this is the second one from a Prime seller , that is going back. Just beware of who you buy from.

Finally – a harness that fits perfectly! And is pet-parent friendly!!
We’ve been struggling to find the right fit for our cavachon. he is not heavy but he has that deep chest so finding a harness that fits right is so hard. We always wore Voyager but he was between sizes and these step-in harnesses don’t have much forgiveness. I will tell you that this one runs just a wee bit big – by the size guide, he needed an XL but I took a chance and ordered an L which was perfect for his 22.5″ chest. I love the clasp – it is easy on these arthritic fingers! Nice padding and mesh. Very well made. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever! I’d give it more stars if I could!!

I first bought the XXXS for my chihuahua puppy. He outgrew it so I bought an XXS. My puppy is now 4 1/2 pounds and I think this harness will fit until my dog is full grown (6 pounds) There’s a wide velcro that allows for adjusting the fit around the rib cage and the leg openings are wide so the dog can move freely without anything rubbing against its skin. It’s very easy to put on since it is a step in harness. I really like this harness!
