This got my cat to take her medicine without stressing
I could not be happier with this pill wrap. I originally didn’t try it since my girl doesn’t like pill pockets but it’s definitely worth trying. The strong bacon scent really helps. This jar will last a good while as well with the amount I tend to use covering her pills daily.–more info and a tip for dosing cats that dislike soft textures:My cat has anxiety, FHS, and other issues. One of the medications she takes is fluoxetine which is not at all palatable to her. We’ve tried so many different ways to get her to take it, but either she’d just entirely avoid it if mixed in something or she’d get even more stressed out by it being pushed on her using a pill shooter or gelatin capsule. This is the first thing we’ve tried that actually completely worked without any stress for her or wasted meds. She seems to like the taste of it and is drawn in by the bacon scent. She doesn’t like the texture much since it’s chewy and she’s a crunchy treat girl.At first we stuck it to the back of one of her favorite crunchy treats and while that did work out somewhat, she would pick it up and drop it a few times before eating it because the soft texture threw her off. To avoid that, I started splitting the crunchy treat as evenly as possible, putting the pill on the inside, and pressing the other piece of treat back on. It works because the wrap is kind of sticky. It kind of looks like an ice cream sandwich at that point. Then I use broken crunchy treat bits to fill in the edges and sides as much as possible to cover that sticky, soft texture for her. It ends up looking like an irregular, slightly thicker and uneven treat at the end. She actually tends to choose that one first because the bacon scent entices her and she now happily takes her much needed medication without any additional stress. We’ve given other pills to her using this method and she’s eaten all of them without any problems.

Perfect for cat pills!
This has been the best product Iâve tried for concealing my catâs thyroid pill. It takes a small amount to cover the pill & she eats it right up. She loves the taste. So much better than the pill pockets; she always got the pill out & eventually refused the treat completely. This little tub should last a long time because it only takes a small amount. I would say itâs a great value for the amount you get. Highly recommend!!

Works like a charm!
Our finicky, elderly dog has gotten really good at finding the pills hidden in the regular pockets and spitting them out. This wrap worked like a charm, as it really sticks to the pills and seals them in. He seems to really like the flavor, too. No spit-outs!

Works great
These work great and are very pliable to fit around the pill, basically like a pill pocket but in a container. I think they are a bit pricey, I use it twice a day for one dog.

is easy to use
This paste is great for small pills. My cat needs 1/4 of a already very small pill and I found Pill Pockets are too cumbersome to cut up and use, and she got tired of their taste after a while. I like the fact that I can make-up a number of small pill “balls” with this paste, and store them in the fridge and use them as I need to. The taste was appealing to her for a good while, but when she started to turn up her nose at them, I found that I could just smoosh the pill-ball onto her favorite treat and she was none-the-wiser. the amount in the jar is quite a lot and I for see it lasting a long time; I store it in the fridge.

Great Product
I have to give my cat a very bitter pill every day. She hates it. I tried hiding it in all sorts of foods and treats. It was getting to the point that she hid from me all the time. This product is just the right texture and consistency to allow me to wrap the pill completely while minimizing the size of the resulting pellet. She loves bacon, so the flavor is perfect for her.I still have to give it to her, but itâs no longer a fight. (My dog would have eaten this without any coaxing!). Itâs been a lifesaver!

Worked briefly on my cats
I have three older cats, and they all need to take medicine and one had stopped taking it with pill pockets. I bought this in desperation too try to avoid using the pill shooter with her. The first time I offered these to her with her pills inside, she practically inhaled them! I was so relieved! It worked for two, maybe three days, now she won’t have anything to do with this stuff. After getting such good initial results with her, I tried it for the other two cats, whose reaction was similar to the first one’s, except that where they used to grudgingly take their meds in pill pockets, now I have to use the pill shooter on all three. The good news, the stuff really does smell like bacon, it’s not unpleasant to handle. And its consistency is sort of like a stiff clay, so your fingers don’t feel gross after handling it.

Great for picky cats
Bought this after my cat figured out pill pockets. He goes nuts for this paste and has taken his meds without a problem. Definitely worth getting!
