Good basic agility set
This set comes with lots of pieces, and although itâs plastic, they are fairly sturdy. Everything is easy to assemble and break down afterwards, and the storage bags are nice. Also good to have those because there are a lot of parts! Because everything is plastic, itâs lightweight, but not so light that it canât take a dogâs body bumping into it.We have one older dog who isnât very interested in learning new things, but enjoys jumping over the bars while we trot beside him. Our younger dog is having a blast! She loves the tunnel (the included sandbags are good for keeping it steady) and is currently trying to figure out the slalom: she canât quite understand that we want her to go back and forth through the entire row and not just in between one set at a time. This kind of learning is fun for us and keeps her engaged (as well as using up all that energy!).If you have an active, intelligent dog and the yard space, a set like this is a good investment and worth the money. A tired dog is a happy dog, and agility training is more fun than simply playing catch or going for walks.

Great Way to Bond and Train Your Dog
This agility kit is a fantastic way to engage your dog physically and mentally, and it’s surprisingly easy to set up. Everything snaps together with clips and connectors; no tools required! The entire course fits into two lightweight bags, so transporting it to the park or moving it around the yard is a breeze. Though the bags might not last if youâre constantly lugging the set around, they work well for light use.The set includes everything you need to create a full agility course: tunnels, jumps, weaving poles, a pause box, and even extra goodies like frisbees and a collapsible water bowl. The variety in obstacles makes it fun and versatile for training. My dog, Delphi, loved the open tunnel right away, though it took a little coaxing (and treats!) to get her comfortable with the ring jump and weaving poles. Speaking of treats, the included treat bag comes in handy for keeping your pup motivated and focused. What I appreciated most was the stability of the setup. Even when Delphi, who’s around 50 pounds, zipped through the tunnels, nothing collapsed or tipped over. The materials, especially the PVC bars, are surprisingly sturdy, though I’d recommend using the sandbags provided to secure everything on windy days. The jump ring, which features Velcro adjustments, stayed put much better than I expected.Overall, this is a well-made, easy-to-use kit that adds a lot of value to training or playtime. Itâs probably best suited for small to medium-sized dogs, though I can see larger dogs enjoying the tunnels. If you’re looking for a way to burn off your dogâs energy while strengthening your bond, this set is definitely worth it.Hey there! If you’re reading this, it means we both value reviews before making a purchase. Regardless of whether I bought the item or received it for review, rest assured, my feedback is genuine, based on actual use and performance observations. I’m committed to providing straightforward, honest, and helpful reviews. While a 5-star review represents near perfection, a 4-star rating from me signifies a very good product with some room for improvement. (It’s still a solid endorsement!) A perfect score is reserved for truly flawless items. Thanks for trusting my review to guide your decision.

best as a portable set for dogs who already know agility
I found this kit to be hard to rate, primarily because it has so many good ideas going on and is so portable and cost-conscious. But on the other hand, if your dog has never seen agility equipment or you’ve personally never done it before, this is not the best kit for them. The obstacles (especially the “tire”) don’t look right from a dog’s perspective; they are very open-looking and confusing as to what part is jump and what part is obstacle. Since the quality is budget conscious, you need to take care and work slowly so the pieces last. The tunnels are a little thin but workable (we have been using them without weights). The coils are not that tight together so the fabric sags a bit inside and gives a different appearance to the dog than an official tunnel. The collapsible tunnel is a bit of a challenge the way it is designed. My dog hadn’t had experience with this more advanced tunnel and I’m used to teaching it with a collapsed portion that is wide and easy to scrunch up. You can have it open or gradually collapsed as you toss it up and let it settle on the backside of the dog as they run out to teach them it’s not a scarey obstacle. The problem with this collapsible tunnel is that it’s all of one piece and the fabric is too tight to scrunch and hold out, much less let it fly. It was really hard to get it to work. My dog kept getting tangled up and frustrated. If your dog already knows the collapsible tunnel, this won’t be a problem. My dog is not that familiar with agility equipment in general, although I’ve had previous dogs I competed with so I do have an official set of metal weave poles — the kind that can have ‘training wheel’ wires on them so you don’t have to lure. I think the poles might be spaced farther apart than the poles in this set, as my dog is still trying to figure out how to work her body to fit between the poles. She is only confident on training wires. These weave poles don’t have training wires BUT they are pretty good as portable weave poles, and if you’re willing to lure a dog that doesn’t understand the weave, then they are do-able.Putting together the weave poles was easy and seamless; lots of thought has gone into the PVC piping and connectors and all the pieces fit sweetly (with nice little end caps). I’ve gone through lots of portable agility jumps that were hard to put together and cut my hands because the pipe ends were sharp and they didn’t fit the connectors, and I did not experience that kind of indignity with this set.The set includes some target trays and zippered carrying cases for all the pieces, tunnels and tire loop. The fabrics are flimsy but for the price point, I think do-able. I have been taking care to store the tunnels when I’m not using them. Because I don’t like how open the jumps are, what I’ll probably do is work one jump at a time and add extra bars from the other jumps on the one jump so that the height is more visible. — there are more bars blocking the space underneath.
