25oz isn’t really a lot of water
This is smaller than expected. Not sure what I was thinking. I have a large 90 pnd dog, that this is basically a few blocks and she drinks almost the entire bottle, and its only 67 degrees out.Too small for a larger dog and going on trails, or longer walks. I also carry a collapsible bowl for ease of drinking.Good for a small dog like a yorkie. May see if I can get a larger bottle to fit the carrier, carrier seems niceUpdate: I actually really like this unit. It will leak if you don’t put the cap on correctly and I feel like sometimes I over secure it to prevent it from leaking. But pup is now super comfortable drinking out of the cap that comes with it. Still only use for short walks with pup. For the 6 miles we do a day it keeps water pretty cold. I always fill it and leave in fridge till we leave, once back refill and back in the fridge.Have taken this to the vet visit ride one way is 1.5 hours and she extra thirty. It has keep the water cool in the car (mind you those trips i put half ice)Longer adventures I have to find something else, wish they had larger sizes

Perfect for traveling
This water bottle was absolutely great during a long road trip from Colorado Springs to Sierra Vista, AZ (814 miles). It holds a good amount of water and fit perfectly into the cup/bottle holder the back door of my ’19 Silverado. It made it very convenient to provide water to my GSD at rest stops without having to dig out a bowl. The top of the bottle is a nice spoon shape and long enough for a full size dog. I had another version of this that become too small when my GSD grew up. The bottle itself is not insulated and will not keep water cool in the door of a truck, but the neoprene carry pouch does help keep water cool on hikes.

Great to grab and go
Carrying case make it a breeze to grab and go, and the bottle will sweat badly if you use chilled water (probably best to not use chilled water for dogs on hot days, but…). Hard plastic lid/drinking cup is easy to use and works well

An Excellent Dog Water Bottle!
I bought two of these to replace the plastic bottles we had for the dogs that dropped and broke because the string holder was too thin and short to hold on to comfortably. Thank goodness that’s not the case here. The slings are so comfortable to wear and I should know as I’m carrying two when we walk the Golden Retrievers. I thought they’d be heavy or cumbersome, but the bottles fit snug in their padded holders and the straps are easily adjustable to fit you well, plus the bottles are lightweight, so I don’t even notice I have them strapped on behind my back.We take our Goldens out for about two miles every day unless it’s too hot or cold. After running around we reach the 2/3rds done mark and water the dogs for the rest of the way home. Each bottle holdls enough to satisfy one Golden including when each dog drains his drinking from the little tray that’s part of the top of the water bottle. These don’t leak at all. I dropped one on the grass and it dented a bit, but the ground was hard and the grass was short. It didn’t compromise the bottle at all. These would work for humans, too! We wash the bottles and top each day to clean off any dog slobber and backwash. We hand wash them as it’s easy to air dry them. I don’t know if they are dishwasher safe or not; I can’t remember. A little hot, soapy water followed by a thorough rinse and they’re clean and ready to go for next time. I highly recommend.

Good idea in theory, not so much in practice
We’ve used this bottle for several months on our almost daily hikes. First, the good points – it’s more convenient than some other methods of carrying water for a dog, the bottle and carrier are very durable, both are easily washable. and our pup has no problem drinking from it. I like the fact that since she’s the only one who uses it, what she doesn’t drink out of the cap is easily poured back into the bottle to save water on long hikes. I used to carry a regular, twist-cap water bottle and collapsible bowl for her, but there was no easy way to pour the water she didn’t drink back into the bottle to avoid waste and running out of water on longer, warmer hikes. I ordered this bottle to solve that problem and to have a water bottle and bowl built into one easy to carry unit. It serves that purpose. Now, the not-so-good points – as many other one-star reviewers have stated, it leaks from the cap-to-bottle seal (or lack thereof). The cap has to be super tight or it will drip/leak if the bottle is on its side, such as when it’s in the floor of the car on the drive to or from a hike, or just from the normal sloshing around during a hike. In fact, the cap has to be put on so tightly in an effort to prevent dripping that it can be difficult to unscrew when needed, and sometimes it still leaks anyway. The bottle also sweats profusely in the exact conditions when a water bottle is most needed – warm weather. Between the sweating and leaks from the cap-to-bottle area, the carrier frequently ends up soaked to the point of dripping on my leg as we hike. It’s not unusual for me to have to hang the carrier up to dry after the hike.I also agree with some other reviewers that the same type of water bottle but with a flexible, flip up/flip down cap/bowl design makes more sense than this one, which has a rigid cap/bowl that has to be taken off and put back on for each use. This design works better than some alternatives, but due mostly to the leak issue we’re going to replace it and switch to one with a flexible, flip up/down cap design.

Big enough for dog to drink out of
It’s very durable, nice to have a bag with it for walks. The bill that the dog drinks out of is large enough for my dog’s tongue. It is pretty easy to use.

Looks good, nice and light and my dog likes to drink from it. My first bottle leaked from the start, but once I pointed this out in a review here a few days ago, I had an immediate and helpful response from the supplier. The seal ring seems to have been missing. My replacement bottle has just arrived and it definitely has a seal ring this time, so I am hopeful that this time it will be just perfect.

We purchased this water bottle & carrier for our 42kg foster dog Luna. The bottle is very solid and well made and holds a good amount of water. Luna has used this happily when out walking. The lid/cup is a good size for such a large dog. The carrier is very useful and is comfortable to wear as unfortunately I have misplaced the wrist strap that was attached to the lid.
