Best harness Iâve found
I have used this harness for years on my 10 lb toy poodle/bichon. The small fits her well and itâs quick and easy to put on, even when sheâs being hyper.My parents have a Pomeranian/chihuahua with a wide stance(like a bull dog) sheâs probably 15lbs and she slides out of many harnesses but not this one. When I changed out colors for my dog I gave them the old one and it has been perfect with no incidents of escaping. Lasts for years and the rings are sturdy and easily clip to any leash.

Good fit, size medium
This fits my 12-pound Pomeranian just right, her neck measures 11 inches and chest 17 inches. If she gets any bigger I will need to size up. Is it comfortable? She hates wearing collars and harnesses and walks away when I bring one of these out, but she seems to not to hate this one as much. And once it is on, she doesn’t seem to mind it. There is no adjusting for size with this harness which I failed to observe when I bought it but it seems true to size. I like that there are two D rings over the clasp for the leash. If the clasp should fail and the Velcro fails, which I can’t see happening, the leash clip will hold the harness on. The leash is very nice and is sturdy enough to hold a horse. I don’t use it because the handle being so sturdy is too stiff to be able to loop the leash through to create a slip knot around my wrist, I’m not capable to keep a firm grasp on a leash for extended periods so am using a flimsier leash.

Snug fit ,works great
Whenever I’ve used a harness or vest before, my dog, Timmy, always managed to get a leg under the chest strap so we were constantly having to adjust. The Voyager step in is great and Timmy hasn’t been able to get a leg under the chest strap due to the snug fit. The construction of the vest seems solid and, while I was skeptical of the double d rings, they seem to work well. but can be a little noisy went connected to the lead. The vest is easy to fit using the velcro and stays in place once fitted even with the lead attached. The lead is okay, seems reasonably sturdy and has a reflective thread sewn in. My only issue would be the size of the clip on the lead, I would have expected a little wider area in the hook considering the double d ring attachment of the harness. Initially, I purchased a small for my 10 lb dog but it was too small so I returned and purchased the medium. I liked it well enough to purchase a second harness.

I love this harness and my dog loves it as well, when I get it out he knows heâs going for a walk and tries to help put it on, trying to make his feet go through the holes. Because he knows itâs going to be fun but most importantly in terms of a review, it obviously fits him well and he has no adversions towards it. It fits him very comfortably and perfectly. Itâs great for yorkies because they canât tolerate being on a leash with a collar if they pull.

I love these harnesses for our little buddies. We just adopted two new little buddies that are 3 and 6 years old Beagle mixes and they are PULLERS!! The 6 year old is a little bigger at 22 lbs. and he fits in a large. In the process of ordering backups, I did try him in a XL but it was too big. I decided to hang onto it to put over a sweater if he needs it. The 3 year old is 18 lbs and she fits in a Medium. Same with her, I have a large on hand to go over a sweater if she needs it but ordered her a backup Medium. I like these harnesses so much, I just wanted to be sure we would always have a clean one on hand because these guys just can’t walk without them. We don’t want to put the leash on the collar. They are easy to put on and I really like the softness. If you’re looking for a harness that’s more like a snug vest than some strappy thing, I highly recommend these. These give us better control and they stay put on the dog and don’t slide around. I also think they’re really cute. I would love to see another reflective band going around the harness, not just on the shoulders but at least there’s some there. We use with reflective collars and leashes. I highly recommend these and would absolutely buy again. I also think they are a great price, especially if you find a sale. Great quality. We will stick with this brand.

Medium was to small
I have a Westie who is 18 lbs. and recently groomed. Looking at a site on Westies I got him the medium size. It was way to small for him. I went back and got the extra large. I will rate that one after it gets delivered. I like how the harness latches and then velcros over the top. It is very simple and easy to put on. The material seems sturdy. I got the harness in blue and love the color. The harness has tiny ventilation holes throughout so it shouldn’t irritate my puppy. The price is reasonable. If I can get the right size for my dog, I think this will be a perfect harness for him. I would highly recomend.

Of all of the harnesses I have purchased for my dog, this is by far the best I have found. Voyager makes an excellent product that is very durable. I can use the same harness for over a year, which is really great since we go on 3 or 4 walks a day for a total of about 5 to 6 miles every day. I have never found any other that is near as good as the Voyager. I have recommended it to quite a few others and they agree – such a great product.

Great at first for my 11llb dog, but I have found that after a few months it has stretched a bit. Enough to the point that Iâm now worried she can back out of it easily. Otherwise Good!
