this is the best step in harness I have found for my 14 pound Yorkie, if you look at it it is more adjustable than the other brands, this fits her perfect and no gaps around the neck, very sturdy, she wears it all day as she is a rescue.

Works well for my cat
I followed the size chart and got the XXS for my cat (currently about 8 lbs) and it’s a great fit on him. I do think the center strap that goes underneath the chest is a little wide – it forces him to walk with a stance a bit wider than he would without the harness on. So I wouldn’t ever have him wear this for a long period of time. But it’s definitely more secure than the old cat harness we had (which only had a clasp around the waist, so couldn’t get the neck strap as tight). My cat knows exactly how to get out of a harness and I’m positive he could slip this one if he wanted to, but we never give him the opportunity to since we know how he does it (he requires tension on the leash to be able to back out of it so we make sure he never has tension on the leash when we’re walking him).We’ve been walking him on a leash since he was about 15 weeks old and he’s 17 now so he’s a professional by this point. The best tip to get your cat to walk on a leash is start them young. And I personally would never leave them unsupervised tied out outside – it’s only ever used for supervised walks. I do wish I got the one without the leash because the clip is really large on it and the leash is very stiff. Definitely more for a larger dog. So we’re still using his old cheap lightweight leash and it works great with this harness. As you can see in my video, bringing him out on his leash earns me a lot of headbonks so he is happy about this too. We are pleased with it and would recommend it.

We have tried SO many harnesses for our 7lb dog. This one fits the BEST. Great quality and fit. It’s easy to put on and take off. It is very lightweight and comfortable on small dogs.

Sizing guide on product description is inaccurate
So, first off, itâs super cute and it fits our 3-4 month old puppy. Itâs also easy to put on and take off.Now hereâs the deal. I get that itâs an incredibly affordable harness and it will work for a few weeks while she grows, but what the sizing description says in one of the image is inaccurate. I measured her and she fits in it because she is 12â around the neck and 16â around her chest, but what I thought I ordered was going to be up to 13â neck and 18â chest. The sizing on the actual product is up to 12â around the neck which means sheâll outgrow this in about a week instead of a month or so.The product also doesnât have a weight suggestion so I donât know at what point to go up a size. The weight suggestion, from what I understand, means that once the dog goes past that weight, thereâs less reliability on the stitching/clips to hold the dog.If the product description had the actual measurements from the actual product, I would have known to start at the medium instead of the small given it will be her size in a week or two. I was looking forward to having a brand that actually has overlap in inches between sizes (even if only an inch) so Iâd have time to purchase the new harness while the old one still fits.

Purchased for my cat; great product, but be careful with sizing for cats!
I ordered the small size for my cat; heâs quite a big boy for being 10 months old, so I got the small in anticipation of him growing, but honestly, I may have underestimated the size I need. ðRegardless, it actually still fits quite well. Iâm able to tighten the neck part up enough that it fits without him being able to slip either of his first legs into.Itâs quite loose around his torso, however, though Iâm hoping he grows into it a bit more.The sizing is definitely buyer error, so donât think it being loose is a bad thing! All in all, I do believe a small will be a good size for him, but buyers getting this for a cat, please keep in mind that the small may be bigger than you expect! XSmall may be the way for you to go, especially if you have a smaller cat.Freyr (my cat) didnât hate the harness, when I first put it on him. Itâs his first harness, and despite not going about introducing the harness to him in the appropriate fashion, he let me put it on him, albeit with a bit of resistance.If this is your first harness for a cat, I highly recommend you look up a tutorial for harness training your cat!!I jumped right into it because Freyr has a very relaxed and playful personality. He thought I was playing with him at first, so I didnât have much troubles getting it on him.Straight out of the package, the neck loop was far too loose and he quickly got one leg through it, but thankfully there is a clip on the neck part for easy removal. I tightened it up, and was able to get it to the perfect size for his neck.Heâll take some time to get used to the harness. I only made him wear it the first time for 15 minutes, but it fit him well, even for being a little bit on the big side. He didnât seem uncomfortable in it at all, only a little awkward as heâs not used to wearing it.The material of the harness feels nice, and it feels sturdy. Thereâs two clips on the back and one clip on the front, making removing it very easy, even when Freyr flops over onto his side after giving up trying to walk with it on.Over all, Iâm very happy with this purchase so far!!If I remember, Iâll update this once Freyr is used to the harness and Iâve started to walk him.

This harness gets 5 stars for comfort for my dog. First, in case you donât know, a real X harness let alone with 3 clips, is very rare. The X shape, if deep in front keeps the pressure of the leash away from the throat (too much pressure there especially in small dogs causes collapsed trachea) Iâve never until now found a harness that properly fit my (large) terrier mix 20 pound dog. She is very muscular, thick in neck and deep in chest. This one does. I sized as per the size guide, fingers crossed, noted that it supposedly had 3 clips, one at neck and 2 on girth, although the image only had 2 clearly shown, and 3 is necessary because she shies at over-head and skitters at step-in harnesses, and she is a Houdini escape artist if the harness is poorly fitted. There are 3 clips where they are supposed to be. The harness is light, not a combat-weight harness like so many that overpower a slight wiry dog. It is a proper X recessed design down the chest in front, alleviating pressure on the trachea. It was super easy to adjust and there is even a little margin left in the straps. We have been at this collar/harness game for 11 years now, and I am very satisfied with this harness and the fit. This is a good purchase.

I really like this harness, it is the third one I tried. It fits my young cat well. There are lots of buckles to make adjustments as she grows. It is soft and there is room around her legs so she can walk. She is still getting used to it but so far I am very happy with the harness.
