    Super sturdy
A lot of busy boards online are wood with metal pieces that made me nervous my son would pinch his fingers or worse so when I saw this I was super excited. It is still super durable plastic but all the pieces are easy to use and I don’t have to worry he will hurt himself. Great toy for dexterity etc

    Great Toy!
Bought this for a Christmas gift for our grandson, who is obsessed with opening and closing doors and locking and unlocking things. My husband and I had fun playing with it prior to wrapping it ha ha I would highly recommend.

Good entertaning and educational toy overall, but with one bad feature.
The latches and doors are difficult enough to require your child to think about how to open it, but easy it enough that they do not give up trying. It seems reasonably durable and well made without any sharp edges or the likes that could harm your child. The BEST FEATURE, in my opinion is…unlike lots of toys out there, this unit comes with a volume adjustment switch (high or low), and the low volume setting is actually very tolerable. You can actually have this playing in a quiet room and not be irritated. Maybe it’s just me, but so many of my toys require me to tape up the speaker holes just to make the sound level somewhat tolerable. I would imagine listening to anything that is too loud would eventually irritate your child as well, but who knows? The BAD FEATURE that I personally don’t like is, the “callback feature”, where if your child is done playing with it and leaves it alone to play something else, it will eventually emit some sounds to call your child back to go play with it. This might not be a big deal to most people, but the reason I don’t like it is because in some ways, it does not allow your to think for themselves and have a more independent play session. It’s not a huge deal breaker, you just need to remember to turn the thing off once they are done playing, but kind of annoying I guess. As an example, my child stopped playing with this busy board and went to grab a book to look at, but when this toy chimed in after being idle too long, my child immediately dropped the book midway through and went back to the toy to play with it again. Had the toy not chimed in, my child would be reading and finishing the book instead.

Toddler becoming obsessed with locks and doorknobs loves this toy!
My toddler was becoming so obsessed with locks and doorknobs, I would have to hold her up awkwardly at doorknob height every time we left or returned to the house, and sometimes when leaving a room, to avoid a huge meltdown. I ordered this hoping for relief, and it worked like a charm. She was instantly smitten, and would spend 10, 15, or even 20 minutes playing with this toy independently every day for weeks. She would point to it and say “that! that!” in the morning, and immediately become engrossed. This thing has saved my back, and also given me lots of precious time in the mornings to prepare tea, make breakfast for us, actually eat my food, use the bathroom, and other luxuries. My toddler also loves to press the song buttons and then dance to the songs. The volume levels are good, and the two modes of play keep it interesting. Even now, at least 6 weeks later, she still wants to play with this toy sometimes, which is more than I can say for some other items. Definitely would recommend, and would buy again.

This product is good quality for the price, has 5 types of activities, two modes, and two sound levels. Requires supervision when kids get old enough to lift/throw things or try to stand on literally everything. I would recommend this as it is really good for child development and keeps them entertained and engaged the older they get.

Bought this for my 9 month old daughter. Even though the box suggests for 12+ month, my daughter is loving it and it kept her busy for a solid 15 minutes which is a good toy in my books. The music mode is pleasant and not annoying and its got volume control for 2 settings (low and high). She likes to open and shut the doors, dance to the music, and bob her head to the beat. We haven’t played the discovery mode enough to engage her, but it seems like it is something she will grow into when she starts counting numbers. Overall this is a great toy and I would totally recommend!
