Substantial, great buoyancy, good fit
This is a truly substantial life jacket that provides very good buoyany for our 75 lb Weimaraner. It’s somewhat stiff in the all important side and top panels, which makes it a little awkward to put on, but the jacket secures well.What I like so much is that there’s plenty of buoyancy, unlike so many vests I’ve seen. And the bright orange color makes it highly visible. Also there’s a very sturdy handle in case you have to “fish” your houd out of the water. I have no worries that our hound will have no trouble staying afloat if she goes overboard on a lake or bay. Everything about this particular jacket is solid.The neck system is very effective. You’ll want to adjust it the first time you put it on your dog, but once it’s properly secured, I cannot see how the dog could slip out of it. And there’s plenty of flotation provided for the neck and head. Of course, breeds differ greatly, but as you can see from the image, this jacket fits our hound without restricting her head movements.I’m not going to deduct a star for this, but the jacket would have been perfect if the floatation chambers were segmented. That would make it easier to put on, like a kid’s life jacket. But as it is, this is a superior dog life jacket at a good price. I will be depending on it.

Great fit on my 50 lb Dog!
This medium sized dog life jacket is a great fit on my 50 lb dog. He wear it when we go swimming at home and when he is on the boat. It is adjustable with nylon straps and fits snugly around his torso and neck. Additionally, the straps can be folded up and Velcroed in place to prevent the straps from hanging in the way. The handle is strong to pick him up and out of the water. I live the yellow color as it is easy to see at sea and there are some silver reflective print on the jacket as well.

We go to the lakes in our area during the summer season nearly every weekend. We have an Australian Blue Heeler who loves to go out on the boat with us. In our area it is mandatory for any dogs on the boat to have a life jacket on ass it is for all of us and the kids. I saw this life vest and it hass proven to be just the right thing for our dog. It is made well as the product is made of Oxford cloth/material which is a heavy duty material that can withstand several different types of usage including life vests, etc. There are different sizes for different breeds of dogs. Ours fits the Medium size category (27-32″ girth), and does so comfortably for him. The handle at the top makes for easy help for the dog if necessary, and the vest is not so bulky that he can’t move. As far as flotation, this works great for our size dog. It is well made, has been durable enough to last this summer, and for future summers to come. I would suggest you read the vendors description for further details. This is a great item ant a great price.

We wanted to get some water fitness to our little chunk monster she was not excited about swimming in general but the vest fit well it was very adjustable she had no problem walking around in it before and after the pool love the handle it made it easy to hold her up

Perfect Dog Lifejacket for Large Breeds
I use this on a large malinois mix when I take him on the river and it works great. It fits and it keeps him afloat. Its usually hard to find his size because he is so big, but this one was actually quite easy to adjust and get his size correct. Im very happy with this product.
