Perfect for home salad bars
Great for home use. We purchased two of these because we eat a lot of salads and everyone has different dietary restrictions. We stack these in the fridge and pull them out to make lunches in the mornings. These allow everyone to customize their salads quickly because everything is separated into compartments and easily accessible. The edges are a little sharp, but overall it’s a great product that suits our needs perfectly.

Bought for an Unusual Purpose
I cook a LOT of Indian food, and part of that relies heavily on what is called a “masala box.” I find that most masala boxes cannot accommodate every spice I need and use. So I got the brilliant idea to buy one of these. Terribly happy that I did so. I keep this next to my microwave, a “pinch” away from my stove, and I am able to flip the lid, pinch what I need when I temper my seeds and spices. Incredibly happy with the product. Easy to clean. And a good value.

Great if you have an ice tray to put underneath it.
Works okay, but doesn’t have room to put any ice under the plastic pockets. I assumed the plastic pockets sat INSIDE the metal casing. They snap into the metal holder, but it has NO bottom, so unless you have a barback with an area you can set the entire thing over ice, your condiments and drink toppers don’t stay cool…which isn’t terrible, you just have to know that.

Salad Bar
I use this as my personal salad bar. Once a week, I wash, slice & dice whatever veggies are on sale. I put 6 different veggies in the compartments. I store lettuce in a salad spinner, already washed & dried. When it’s time for a meal, I take my tongs, grab some lettuce & start piling on the veggie toppings. I’m eating fennel, radishes, mushrooms, cabbage, watercress, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, cukes, cherry tomatoes, carrots, peppers, beets, you name it. Salad is no longer just lettuce with the obligatory splash of red or orange. I’m eating veggies that I would never have bothered with until now that I’ve got my own salad bar. Just takes once a week to prepare. The whole contraption stores nicely in the frig without taking too much room. Easier to use than storing 6 individual containers that may have 6 covers that you need to pry open. With the Winco, you just lift up one lid. It promotes healthy eating. I liked it so much, I got my daughter one & she thinks it’s a great idea too.

Do not purchase!
For a busy bar, this thing is a hazard. The edges are razor sharp and Iâm not exaggerating! I have 2 servers both with lacerations bc of it today. There is no bottom to it so you canât use as expected with ice. No handles to grab onto. Actual rating: Zero stars

there’s no bottom to this thing
I love having this thing. It has made sandwich-making a central part of my life. I like the rounded bottoms of the little white containers. I like the hinged lid even though the clear plastic is a bit flimsy. The only real problem is that the whole thing is hard to move and carry. It’s basically a box with no bottom. It takes two hands holding onto the metal edges at the sides, being careful not to bump the little containers. Picking it up and setting it down is the only challenge.

This is great for your back yard BBQs for your sliced onions, tomatoes, pickles and so forth. Lid closes nicely so no flying bugs can get into your food. However, I purchased this to store different nuts in for our cereal toppings and it does not seal to keep air out for something like that. I ended up returning it but would still recommend it for what it is being sold for and that is a hot-dog cart-style condiment tray.
