Great puzzles with minor issues on the shapes puzzle
These four Wooden Peg Puzzles came in a box labeled Hand Grasping Board. Each puzzle was individually wrapped in plastic. They are lightweight and sturdy and the colors are bright. Each puzzle piece has a wooden button, making them easy to grab. The buttons have pegs, which go through small holes drilled in each puzzle piece, and are glued in place (see the shark in the underwater animals puzzle). One of the things I really like about these puzzles is the illustrations on the puzzle pieces are replicated on the puzzle boards. So it’s very easy to see where the pieces go from the picture as well as the shape. With the shapes puzzle, the pentagon and hexagon shapes aren’t exact, so the pieces don’t fit back into the cutout shapes unless they are in the right orientation, or if they are given a little force. Also, the rectangle and circle are mislabled (rectangular and circular). I will fix this before putting the shapes puzzle out for play, as many of the families who use our toy lending library don’t speak English well, so accurate vocabulary is important. I will probably change “Half Round” to semi-circle also.

My toddler loves doing these puzzles and giving the animals sounds but the pegs have become loose and fallen off which is a MAJOR choking hazard.

My great-nephew loves his new puzzles. These wooden peg puzzles for toddlers are so cute. Your toddler can learn the alphabet, sea animals, farm animals and shapes, while also learning to identify colors and other facts. He loves to pull them out and put them back in. They are made of wood and the size and fit are perfect for his little hands. They are sturdy and durable. They perform as they should and are a great gift for any youngster in your life.

Great 4-Pack Puzzle Set!
Ordered this for my 20-month old because she loves baby shark and farm animals, and she’s gravitated towards the puzzle so far so win. The images and design of the puzzles are better than expected and are great for developing her fine motor skills when finding the right rotation to place the puzzle piece while not being super rigid in the fit. Also helps that the correct image is also displayed underneath the puzzle slot.-1 star because the quality and longevity are TBD. The board is very light which I don’t mind at all, but it feels like it can easily split and the glue between some of the knobs and puzzle pieces are inconsistent and a little excessive (see pics).
