Better than Furbo in every way
We had a Furbo for years, but my biggest cat Milo would knock it over and the lid would pop off and he’d gorge on treats. So when the power cord finally busted when he knocked it over, I went to buy a replacement, and chafed at the cost still being so high. I saw this WOPET did the same thing at like $100 less so I figured I’d try it. In (almost) all metrics, it is better:1) It holds more treats. The Furbo has this slimline look, but the top is very thick where the unit is widest, so the chamber to hold treats is very small and empties quick. This unit holds way more, so it’s better designed2) It has suctions on the bottom to adhere to a shelf. Furbo doesn’t have this (or didn’t when I bought it), so was easy to knock over. This one is not immoveable, but it is hard to move. Milo hasn’t been able to knock it over.3) The lid is better designed. It’s not overly thick like the bamboo one from the Furbo, and it sucks on better, It can actually be a bit hard to get off if you don’t have fingernails to get in the crack to start the pulling. Milo hasn’t gotten the lid off, which is good, because he doesn’t need too many treats, he could lose a pound or two so we have to be sparing with the treats and not let him overdo it.4) Camera quality is better. At least from my Furbo bought a few years back, so perhaps Furbo has updated their camera too.5) It has a button on it so you can dispense without having to open the app. Sometimes you want to give your cats a treat with it without dealing with the app. Or you want the cat sitter to be able to dole out treats and don’t want to give them app access. This is better than having no button.6) It’s way cheaper. It does all the same things (at least that I use it for), and way less money.7) It doesn’t show a different light when you are on the camera. With the Furbo, if you’re looking at the unit it has one color of light on for if it is on standby and another color of light when the app is open and the camera is on. For me, I want there not to be a color difference. I want to also use this camera to spy on what’s going on in my house when I am not there with the teenagers in the living room. With the Furbo they could tell when I’m doing that. With the WOPET they cannot.8) The ONLY thing I wish they’d done differently is put the power cord input on the back, rather that on the side that makes it hard to put books right next to it on the shelf. It’s not quite as slick looking as the Furbo, but it’s fine. The curved sides of the Furbo didn’t make it a great book end either.(By the way, my pic above is of our custom designed bookshelf/kitty tree we designed. So it’s a whole kitty playground, with some functionality too, which is why it looks so sparse.)

    Good product
We have used this for some time now. Our pup and kitty stand at the camera waiting for the treat when they hear the sound. Love being able to look in on them and interact. Camera quality is good, no lag. Easy to use and set up.

The changes made to the product are a definite improvement!
I initially tried out the Wopet a couple years ago but discovered the product had some issues to work out, and had returned it and purchased a Furbo instead. However, Wopet recently sent me a newer, improved model for me to try out in exchange for considering writing a more positive review or deleting the negative one. I’ve been using this new version a few days now and here’s what I have noticed:One thing neither my dog nor I liked about the old model was how the loud the treat-dispenser was. The product had a malfunctioning sensor that caused it to repeatedly fling treats. However, this improved model has a functional sensor AND I am able to record my own sound for the feeding, or turn the sound off if I want. The treat launcher scatters a lot of treats if you use small, kibble-sized treats, so if you don’t want this I recommend using treats at least the size of a blueberry or large marble. It has a decent trajectory of a couple feet. The HD setting is very clear, and SD as well, however I do have trouble getting the camera to load on the HD setting. The smooth setting typically works fine and is relatively clear. The night mode is impressive, very clear.I feel the product still has a couple quirks to work out. The buttons for rotating the camera are opposite, so left turns it right and vice versa, but that’s not such a big deal once you get used to it. Additionally, the wording on some of the settings are poorly translated to English, such as “define sound” meaning “record sound” for treat dispensing, and “remove the binding” meaning, as I unfortunately discovered, uninstalling the device from the app and having to reinstall it all over again. On the positive side, the device is very stable on the table, and has extremely strong suctioning feet to keep it in place should your pet try messing with it. Last I checked this device is half the price of the Furbo 360, and while it does not have as many options or upgrades as Furbo, after using it a few days it seems it’s a decent camera to use if you just want to look in on and talk to your pet and toss a handful of treats.

Works well and great support services
Purchased the product in June of 2022. Needed to get a pet camera quickly and made a rash decision to purchase this one. Set up was relatively easy and straight forward. It worked exactly as I needed. The picture quality is not high definition but very good quality especially the night vision. I work over nights and the rest of my family was away on vacation so I was able to easily monitor my dog with out having to leave on all the lights in the house. After 3 months it went offline and we could not get it to connect to wifi. After going through what we thought was everything to get it back up and running I finally emailed the company. I got a quick response from a Jack and he was able to email back and forth and trouble shoot the problem and correct it. Shouldn’t be a problem again but if it does we can correct it easily. I would definitely recommend this pet cam/feeder if you looking for a reasonably priced unit without a subscription and exceptional customer service.
