Nice wood box
This went together quick. I didn’t look at the time but I would say 15 minutes at the most. I would not bother with the tool included in the kit. I used a cordless drill and it went smooth and very fast. If you have a torque setting on your drill it makes it easier if you set it. You won’t have to worry about driving the screws too low or stripping the hole. The screws provided are fine. No problem.All the pieces fit together well. It is very sturdy. Looks like I have two extra screws left. I looked twice and I didn’t miss any holes. All the holes are pre-drilled.I might get another box.

Sturdy and Versatile Addition to Any Home Gym
Iâm very happy with the Yes4All 3-in-1 Wooden Plyo Box. Itâs extremely sturdy and feels solid, even during high-intensity workouts. The assembly process was fairly easy, but Iâd recommend not fully tightening the screws until all sides are in placeâotherwise, the last piece can be a bit tricky to fit. The multiple height options are a great feature, allowing me to adjust based on my workout needs. Overall, a fantastic addition to my home gym! Highly recommend!

Great plyo box! But assembly is hard on the thumbs…
This is a great box, no doubt. Less than the wood would cost to build it yourself, but machine cut, smooth edges, nicely finished. As nice as any box I’ve seen in any CrossFit box. It’s very sturdy, and I Iove the handle cutouts.That being said, the assembly was not fun. I won’t say it wasn’t easy, it was easy, it just wasn’t fun. The ends of each side go on top of the adjoining side. The top piece has a nice hole with a counter-sink in it, there is no hole in the lower piece. Not a problem, really, since the screws are more than sharp enough to pierce the wood. The problem is that they are Allen head screws.The screws come with a tiny Allen tool, pictured here. I included a penny in the picture for scale. At first, I thought, no problem! I have Allen wrench bits of every size in my collection to put in my cordless screwdriver. But I was wrong. I have all sizes EXCEPT this one. I don’t know if this is a custom size or if I’ve magically misplaced this size bit from the 3 different sets I own, but there was no bit found at my house.So, I used the Allen wrench it came with. It took a lot of force on the wrench to get the screws started. After that, some went in smoothly, but many did not. I had to take a break and wait to finish until the next day to prevent getting blisters on the pads of my thumb and fingers. You can also see in the image that by the time I was done, the Allen wrench itself was stripped a bit.All-in-all, it wasn’t a HORRIBLE experience, but I would gladly have paid a price of, say, $5 more to get a better Allen tool. Perhaps like the ratcheting ones Ikea includes? Or just make the screws Phillips head.I will include this qualification: It could be that the company is smarter than me, and they know that using a cordless drill or screwdriver would have caused the wood to split or some other thing to make the box not as nice. A sentence or two in the instructions stating that would have made me feel better about it.

Versatile Box
I know this box is typically used for workouts and things like CrossFit. As a professional photographer I was looking for the perfect white posing box. Everything marketed towards photographers is so expensive and couldnât get myself to purchase. I saw someone recommend online to use these boxes as posing boxes. They are reasonably priced and super sturdy. I had my husband screw it together (although it is something anyone could do) and my mom painted it white for me. It looks perfect in my studio and I love the sleek look of it with my white studio walls and photos. I would love to purchase more sizes in the future but for now, I love the this one can be placed on its side for a wider seat or placed on an end for a taller seat. I would definitely recommend this to other photographers as well as those who are looking to purchase a study box for workouts.

A+++ quality – exceeds expectations
The quality of this is ABOVE expectations. I got the smallest one (12x14x16), with natural finish. It has a really nice quality natural varnish on it – I kind of thought the natural one would just be plain and un-varnished. The varnish was an unexpected surprise. It is really a nice finish, and all of the edges and handle holes are really nicely sanded and finished; no sharp or pokey edges anywhere.From the reviews I see that others have had different experience, but for me – all of the pieces fit really nicely together. No gaps anywhere. All of the screws went right into their holes, no mis-alignments or anything. There were 2 extra screws included (I guess in case you lose or strip one?).I had a screwdriver with the correct end on it, so I didn’t use the included allen wrench. The screws were nicely lined up, so you definitely could do this with just the allen wrench, but it would take you a while – as the screws are going into wood, they do take some muscle to get them in tight. I did it with a screwdriver by hand, but this would go MUCH faster if you had a drill with the appropriate bit attachment. The screws are recessed nicely to create a nice surface for stepping. nice and smooth.Pro tip: before you put all the screws in, make sure that the panels with the handles are going the same direction (Oops!). I had to remove 12(!) screws in order to rotate a panel around and screw them in again…again, would have been much faster with a drill. not a huge deal though…nice workout doing all that screwing. In the end everything really fit together quite nicely.I am actually very impressed with the quality of this, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the next size up from the same brand when I am ready to graduate to the next size higher.

I actually thought it came put together, but no you have to put it together yourself, which was simple and easy. It’s a really good box

This is a really nice plyo box. Great quality wood and very easy to put together. The only, very slight, complaint is that the Philips (cross-head) screwdriver that comes free with the kit has a VERY hard and uncomfortable handle – I ended up using one of my own that has a more comfortable handle.It looks lovely when finished and feels strong yet light and easy carry around (I carried it for just over a mile each way to and from a plyo and drills running session). The fact that each side is a different height (12 ins, 14 ins, 16 ins) is really good as it provides different options for different abilities or different types of exercises. However, each side is not the biggest landing surface so you have to concentrate when using, which is not really a bad thing – keeps you more focused. I’d definitely recommend this product!
