    Love those product
Best ice cream scoop on the market. Only if I could get people to STOP putting it in the dang dishwasher.

Should’ve gotten one of these a long time ago
Nice and heavy. I like the finish. Easy to clean. No moving parts. Scoops perfect ice cream balls and then it falls right off. Such a simple design and works very well. I had a kitchen aid scooper that came with a set of kitchen utensils and it had a similar design, but it didn’t scoop nearly as well as this. Seems like a lot to spend on an ice cream scooper, but it works and will probably be your last that you’ll ever buy, unless you lose it or something. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Scoop for Portion Control
I love everything about this scoop: scoops ice cream out smooth and easy, cleans easy, looks beautiful. I’m sure you’ve already read lots of reviews attesting to this. However, my favorite thing about this is that the 32 scoops per gallon that this scoop is described as doing is sooooo accurate that (when you do the math) you can count on 12 scoops per a typical 1.5 quart ice cream container from the grocery store.I try to make a container last me 4 nights, so now the guess work is taken out by simply scooping 3 scoops per serving (3 scoops for 4 nights equaling 12 scoops). To some this may sound trivial, but before I would never guess right; almost always serving myself more than I intended with my previous scoop. Before, I would get to night 3 and end up just finishing the rest because there wasn’t enough left for night 4.This scoop is so dependable with portions that I almost always get exactly (and I mean exactly) 12 scoops per a typical 1.5 quart container.

Makes scooping I’ve cream almost enjoyabe
Growing up I used a metal spoon. It bent, stuck, wouldn’t actually scoop. I never knew these were a thing. I run warm water over the handle until warm. The liquid inside keeps the head warm without liquid adding to the crystals of the ice cream. Works amazing. Scoops look like a pro did it. Will never use anything else again

It is with great regret that I admit the expensive thing is the best one
It scoops ice cream better than the cheap ones. It just does. It’s expensive, so I didn’t buy this one for a long time, because it seems like it can’t really be any better than the cheap ones. I mean, it’s a fancy spoon, how much difference can there really be? But, it works better, especially on very cold/firm ice cream. None of the cheap ones I’ve tried, both metal and plastic, have ever done as good a job as this.

    Finish is blotchy
My mom had one of the original one that is a family stable in her home. I have never had a scoop that I liked as much as hers. It’s a brown cap. It’s missing some of the liquid and you can here it when you shake it.So I decided to order one for my house. I saw the anodized and figure why not? Ya have to hand wash these either way. The anodized finished is blotchy and not all that great looking. It must be a type 2 and not 3. It’s ok, I think I paid a buck more than the un anodized. Keep your buck and buy the original. It is what it is.

    So cool!
This thing is so neat. I got the 2.5 oz. size Zerolon. This melts the ice cream so fast, that we have to hurry and put it on our cone before it slides off. Cuts through like it’s butter. It’s effective and works like a charm. I have absolutely no stress on my wrists, which is why I got it to begin with. No pain in my shoulder from straining to get the scoop down into the ice cream. The quality is evident. It’s heavy and well made.Absolutely worth every penny and more. I couldn’t recommend more highly. Just this simple kitchen tool has made things a lot easier for me. And made right here in the USA!!If you’re looking for an ice cream scoop..stop. This is the one.

I had wanted one of these for years, I’m glad I finally found it. Plastic scoops and mechanical scoops are no match. As the manufacturer’s description says, this scoop curls the ice cream into a nice round serving that may have a hollow at the centre. In a shop the server’s hand will warm the scoop enough for it to release easily. At home, where only a few scoops might be served at a time, a brief dip in warm water (NOT HOT) does the same thing. Wash the scoop quickly under the tap and put it away; NEVER put it in the dish washer. The high dish washer temperature and strong detergent will cause damage and spoil your enjoyment of a fine utensil.

I wanted to get something that could cut into harder ice cream because the levers kept breaking off the cheap ones. This feels unbreakable and you can create a very nice packed ball of frozen goodness. I got the 2.5 oz (green) one, but I think the 3 oz (blue) would be closer to the “standard” scoop size I was used to.
