Best dog floatation device on Amazon!
Great color selection. My two dogs (an 13 year old small Munsterlander spaniel – 41lbs- and eight month old Brittney- 35 lbs) are both wearing a size Large.Iâve tried upwards of 10 different dog life jackets, from ruff wear, LL Bean, West Marine, plus a bunch from Amazon and these are BY FAR our favorite.The webbing has nice loops below the belly to secure it, instead of dangling and potentially wrapping your dogs legs. Thereâs a reflective trim along the top that really helps aid in night time visibility. The top handle is padded and nice and wide for easy lifting.The front and belly straps are adjustable, for a versatile fit. The webbing does slide a bit when wet, but I plan to throw a few stitches in there to hold in place.Beyond the bang for the buck quality, I have to say the design of this dog life jacket is what really sold me: itâs more secure. And safety is the main reason I have my dogs wearing a PFD: instead of just slipping over their head and buckling at the belly (like the Ruff Wear design) these lock the dog in and provide a much more wiggle-free lifting experience.Overall, Iâd say these are a 9.5 out of 10. I also bought one for my parents English Spring Spaniel- 45lbs- size Large.

Part of the Swim Routine
My dog likes to swim in the river and is trained to wait until he puts on his heavy duty life vest. This vest is more lightweight then the one we bring camping which is okay since we use this in a pool. Putting the vest on signals to Milo that it is okay to swim in the pool at the house. Milo is an excellent swimmer so I am not sure how much this vest is supporting him but we still find value in his wearing it. It took a little bit to figure out how to wear it but once he was in it, he looked comfortable and content in it. After it got wet, it helped keep him cool so he didnât take it off right away when he finished swimming.

These are the best life jackets my pups have had. No velcro to pull their hair which I love. Fits very secure to my mini doodles and they are light weight. My lighter doodle loves the water my other one not so much. This is where I love the big handles. I have control of them with ease.

took my dog kayaking and had a little 6 foot rig to tow her on which she eventually capsized and had to swim about 50 yard to shore, the vest worked out great

Not a bad life jacket, fits well and hasn’t broken yet my only real complaint is the front straps loosen on their own which kind of defeats the purpose of the life jacket

Following the posted size chart, I ordered an XL for our 96lb dog. The vest fits perfectly and I am able to cinch the vest so it is snug and doesn’t ride up. Doggo tolerates the vest.
