Safety First for my Cavalier
Purchased a size small for my 10lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. It fits his slim body very nicely and he does not appear uncomfortable wearing it. There’s a sturdy handle at the top to lift him from and the pattern is adorable.

Confidence in swimming!
When I first put this on my dog, he was really unsure of what was happening. It kind of reminded me or when a cat has a sweater on, and they have no clue how to move. That was my dog.He wasn’t super happy that he had clothes on, but he warmed up to it after he got in the pool. He had been in the pool one time before without the life vest, and he was scared of the water. He was breathing heavily while swimming and wouldn’t just relax.I put this vest on him for a new swimming chapter, and he did really well. He won’t jump into the pool, but he will climb down the stairs and swim around. He actually played with his frisbee this time in the pool! He was swimming around for a long time and would float at other times. He wasn’t as tired when he was done, and he was swimming for a longer amount of time.His confidence definitely grew when he was wearing this. I actually had to fight to get him out of the pool because it was starting to thunder and lightning. He simply did not want to get out.I love this product and how it has helped my sweet dog gain confidence! 10/10 recommend!Also for referencr, my dog is a German Shepherd and Catahoula Leopard Dog mix weighing about 65 pounds. Donât regret my purchase.
*****I have a VERY anxious rescue dog.*****My dog had never swam before we took him into the lake with this vest. The handle was awesome for getting him into water deep enough where he had to swim but was stable enough to keep him from panicking. I do not think this vest would be sufficient for my dog to jump into deep water and be held afloat with his limited swimming skills. If your dog is a swimmer this vest will be fine for them. The fin doesnât stand up very well, but thatâs a minor issue in my opinion. The Velcro straps are really good once you have them pushed in well.

Size is correct for our dogs. They moved freely with them on, the dogs stayed a float and handle held up lifting 50lb dog in and out of boat.

I have a 17lb pomeranian mix and bought a small and it fits him perfectly with room to adjust to a larger size if needed. His hair weighs him down so this helps him be able to swim while keeping his whole face out of the water. Not to mention how adorable he looks wearing it!

XL shark life jacket
The jacket is absolutely adorable. Price was good. And the fit was perfect. My pitty is 85lbs and this fit great. Even had room. Loved the handle on the back. Was so excited to get this. So I gave it a 2 star because we only used it 3-4 times (maybe 5-10 mins ea time) and hung it up to dry. Once dry stored it inside the house. This year we got it out used it 2 times and the straps that click shut ripped right off and so did all the handles. Completely dry rotten. Not a happy camper at all. What would have happened had he been on a lake and this happened. Or since it can be used as A harness while on water even has a loop for a leash; what if we would have been at lake and while at the lake it had busted open on a walk. Thank god we pay attention and stay with him. Iâm so upset and not satisfied rt now. Not even used a handful of times and itâs garbage.

Peace of Mind
It was bigger than he needed because I went off weight and didnât measure him. It still fit just had to tighten everything up as far as if would tighten up. I thought it was a great price, excellent quality in materials used and how it was made. Sam can swim but at 8 years old and a family reunion with a bunch of children of all ages I didnât want to have to watch him that closely if he got tiered or played to rough with the children so I got this specifically for this trip. It was easy to use putting on him and taking off of him. Plus the kids got a kick out of swimming with a shark. Great conversation piece. Mostly I knew I didnât have to worry that my four legged fur babies was safe. I would highly recommend this product to all my family, friends and boarding clients. I love this ð¶â¤ï¸

My girl is 8.8 lbs. The XS fits her with plenty of extra Velcro and buckle room. I would say a dog that weighs 1 or more lbs less than her, it may be too big.Ordered an XL for our 58 lb GSP/Visla but the XL is too big for him so I re-ordered him a Large and it fits perfectly.These shark life jackets work well to keep both our tiny dog and our medium sized dogs afloat and neither seem to be agitated by any part of the jacket.
