So this works great to keep the cats off. But to put it in simple terms it’s literally just a big role of clear tape. But it does work

Itâs fine
So, this is essentially like very thick tape, itâs a little difficult to manage as it likes to roll up. You peel it off of a backing and then stick it on whatever you want.For large furniture like couches I wouldnât bother with this, it doesnât give enough coverage unless youâre only doing small spots, and even then if you want to use the pins (to secure it better) thereâs only 20 pins, so you can safely secure about 5 square sections.I can see it being mildly helpful if you need to apply it to a lot of small things (dining table letâs?? If they wrap nicelyâ¦) but honestly this stuff is so thin I donât even know if it will stop my cats from scratching.Also, the adhesive is VERY strong; good for keeping it on but o bet itâll take the paint off your walls and ruin some furniture/finishes, so definitely test it first!!!

Impossible to separate backing from adhesive
This product may have worked if I could separate the backing from the clear adhesive portion. Unfortunately since I could not do that, the product was unusable.

It was very easy to install and adjust where I was placing it on the coach. Clings on very well. Would buy again to the price I spent.

Not great for leather
I put this on my leather sofa to stop my cat from trying to scratch at it. It went on fine, a few bubbles here and there but not terrible. Well the next morning most of it had fallen away. It isnât feasible to use the pins on leather so I just have to go back to putting blankets all over the sofa. Disappointed to say the least.

This stuff is amazing Iâve got all round my sofa and chair kitten doesnât go near it , only thing is you donât get a lot of it , and itâs quite expensive wen you need more than one box

I’ve previously had great success with this type of film. I chose this particular item because it’s not as wide as other brands I’ve used. I needed a narrower tape for the stair carpet. Our cat, who pads around on any carpeted area, began to pull out the twisted fibres from the carpet. To avoid a threadbare and balding carpet, we decided to try this sticky tape. We applied it to the stair risers, and it effectively prevents the cat from clawing at the carpet. We keep it in place for as long as possible, approximately two weeks, before removing it and applying a new strip. The cat avoids any area where we’ve placed this tape, making it a success. I would recommend it to anyone with a cat that enjoys pulling at their carpet.
