Excellent Book!
I just started training my rescue dog (Lab/Hound) for Musical Freestyle. I take Freestyle classes currently with a positive trainer. This book really is helping to augment what I’m learning in class. The author breaks down the movements into “recipes” that you can then put together and get creative. Of particular interest to me is the approach to teaching sidepass. I think this along with my trainer’s help in getting my dog to isolate his rear end will be successful. I’ve emailed the link to this book to all of those in my class. This is a super book!

Exceptional!
I bought this book hoping to use it to teach my new Border Collie some fun tricks to music, but I was delighted to find how useful it is for providing more precise training for my older Border Collie who currently competes in Canine Musical Freestyle. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to help sharpen their dog’s dancing skills for demonstration or competition.

Needs improvement
This book has some valuable info, but wow is it hard to read. The pictures are all blurry black and whites, and the diagrams for the footwork show feet and arrows…not dog bodies, so I find it a bit difficult to read and understand with a quick glance. But, the info is good, and helpful…but could be a lot better than it is.
