Customers say
Customers find the leash useful for bathing their pets. It works well on bathroom tile and keeps dogs in place, especially small dogs. They appreciate how it makes bathing easier and less stressful. While most customers are satisfied with the quality, some have mixed opinions about suction, hold strength, value for money, and size.

Works pretty well but not sure it’s the suction that keeps it on there
I’ve used this twice now for grooming and for a bath. I like that it comes with a little cover for the suction cup when. you’re not using it, but I have to say I’m not sure if the suction cup stays on because of the locking mechanism or because the cover is needed since the suction cup itself is so sticky. It seems like the kind of sticky stuff you use on car dashes where you can rinse it with water if it gets non-sticky and that renews it. It definitely helps keep the suction cup on the side of the tub – I had to use a butter knife to pry it off. The length of the cable seems perfect for small dogs. I don’t think it would work well for big dogs. Comes with a nice pouch to keep it all together when you’re not using it.

Bath tested
Used it several times now and it works very well. The suction cup is amazingly strong with little chance of it pulling off the tile wall where I use it. It’s paid for itself in avoided groomer trips.

Works great! Made bathing my dog less stressful for both of us.
This product works great! It keeps my 22 lb. dog in place while bathe her. The suction is very strong. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I canât release the suction cup. I know several other buyers are having the same problem.

Victory during bath time! Mostly
I put off buying this because I kept thinking âDo I really need ANOTHER thing for the dogs? Canât I just train them more and suck it up until theyâre better at baths?â Uh no, I canât. So I bought it. Then regretted all the time I put it off.I finally won. They stayed in the tub and went from smelling like poo to smelling like fresh puppies. They could still get their front legs on the edge, which was annoying and got water everywhere, but thatâs either due to user error or having a narrow tub. This thing is easy to slap onto the tile and lock. Comes off fairly easy too, but a couple tugs so thatâs good. The suction cup thing is sticky though, which makes me worry it will become less effective over time. Gentle washing might help?Anyway, Iâve only used it once so will update my review after more baths to report how it holds up.

Does not hold
I have an all tile bathroom. Before installing this I scrubbed the walls to make sure there was no residue. I have two pit mixes ones like 75-80 pounds the other is like 45-50 pounds the larger one doesnât mind taking baths so didnât have to use it on him the smaller one is like a cat when it comes to water. We had this around his neck for a good 30 seconds before he yâa led it right off the wall. We tried to put it on the wall while it was wet. While it was dry, steamy not steamy does not hold.

Alright
Only works with some materials. Wonât stick very in my sink or tub but I canât get it off when I stick it to my parents tub (I have to pry it off with a knife). Unfortunately I canât tell you what materials each tub is made up but I can describe them. Itâs doesnât like to stick to very hard surfaces, I have one of those stand alone tubs that are heavy and hard as cement. Youâd hurt yourself trying to break it. Cold when you touch it. But it likes to stick to the soft plastic type materials. The material you feel like you could break if you really really tried. A lot of hotel showers seem to have the material. I hope I described this well. Even if it sticks very well or not, itâs still a nice guide for your dog to stay. Most well-trained dogs get the idea that you want them to stay.

Holds even the strongest dog in my crew
As long as its on a smooth surface (like my tub wall) this sucker holds and holds – even with my 150lbs leaning back and pulling. I have a 100lb rott lab mix that isnt a fan of being wet unless he’s the one jumping in the water and he cant even break the suction.I did have to give it a 4-star on sturdiness because the little metal and plastic clip holding the lead to the suction cup did break off (the metal did, plastic held fine). But, I fixed that by unscrewing the bolt from the suction cup and threading the loop that the plastic was on through the bolt and re-mounting the bolt. Now it just means I have to unscrew everything -if- I need to separate it (I think technically its suppose to be a safety feature like a quick release but I don’t for see needing that mechanism).

Keeps puppy in the sink
I needed something to help keep our puppy in the utility sink when I give him a bath. He still tries to climb out, but this will only allow him to get his front paws on the edge of the sink, instead of completely jumping out and probably injuring himself. The suction cup really holds well. I have removed it several times and it sticks just as well each time. Our puppy weighs 16 pounds and hasn’t been able to pull it off.I also stuck it to the dryer to keep him in one place while I brush him.The key for me has been to put some Crazy Richard’s peanut butter on a licky mat to use in combination with the tether.

I was hesitant about the strength of the suction but this absolutely works and is strong.I have no complaints of major issues. A minor one is the string is a bit thin and can strain underneath a dog’s weight. If you use it for restraining though you should not have a problem.

First use stuck well but when it got wet it wouldn’t hold.
