Unfortunately, the added mouse tail did not fit in the hole so it was just a ball. It doesnât really hold my kittensâ attention.

Tail doesn’t fit securely
Kind of loses some of it’s appeal since the fluffy tail just pops right back off as soon as the ball moves. Also it’s rather fast so the cat kind of afraid of it.

Just way too big for even a large cat. The toy scared our cat so much he ran away to hide from it.
This toy is MUCH bigger than I expected. It was so big that it scared my cat when it was rolling around on the floor. (And our cat is a large 13 lb. kitty, so it would be huge for most smaller cats.) Sadly, our cat ran into the other room to get away from this toy and hide.The toy had a bright orange fuzzy âtailâ that was connected to a short pole that gets locked into the spinning/rolling base securely. And thereâs a red laser, but because of the rolling base the light beam of changes direction too often to be something that a cat can easily follow, so I donât see the laser as being useful here.The toy rolled over our vinyl plank flooring easily and even rolled onto rugs and down a large step to our concrete floor lanai and kept rolling and spinning. It pauses automatically after a minute or so.If this toy were 1/2 or 1/3 its current size, I think our cat would have enjoyed playing with it., but at this large size it was just too big and scary as it rolled around the house (and our cat is not normally scared by things.)

Lots of entertainment
This little thing is great for our cat who is relatively starved for attention. She loves every bit of this little toy – the sound especially. It rolls around and puts that laser dot all over the place, and she loves that, but the little fluffy tail thingy is probably her favorite. I was a little amazed at how tough that little tail thing seemed, and I was right because it has lasted so long – still going strong. We paired this with another laser toy and she is now lean and mean, with plenty of play to keep her mind busy.

My cat loved this toy! He would come running to me to have it turned on all of the time. It ran on carpet well and he thought the chirpy little noises were great!After about a month, the mechanism inside the ball that causes it to move simply stopped functioning. the poor little guy has been crying ever since

One cat loves it, one ignores it
I have two adult cats One really loves this toy. If I turn it on he runs from two rooms away to play with it.The second cat has never gone near it! Go figure!The toy rolls easily on wood floor or area rug. Make the transition from rug to floor with no problem.It rolls this way and that to get itself out of tight spots behind or under furniture.The one minus if that it doesn’t “wake up” easily. I have not seen the cat be able to activate it, it take quite a nudge from a human to get it going again.Also, the battery life seems shorter than other similar toys.

Fun for the cat
This is a fun little interactive toy for our kitten. You can watch them play instead of having to use a handheld toy. It has really kept her entertained for quite a while at one time! Great buy!
