Great XL cat scratching post.
This was easy to put together and my cat loves it right off the bat. I was able to put the inside corner of the metal platform under the corner of a heavy bookcase to really hold it in place. (My cat really digs in and could pull it over otherwise, I think.) I also use them around the corners of my sofa. I’ve tried cardboard scratching posts and my cat just isn’t as interested in them. This one she loves!

Not sturdy or stable
No matter where I put it, or how I positioned it, when my cat tried using it, it would tip over. (Once even knocking him in the head.) He just looked at me as if to say âReally?â Total waste of money.

This scratching pad is easy to assemble, sturdy, and attractive. It included a small packet of catnip which seemed to attract my kitty right away. It’s been a few days now, and she’s still using it. She prefers the ‘low’ position (vs upright as pictured in the ad). Would recommend (the included toy was not of much interest)

We were looking for something to protect our couches, specifically in the spot where it is.All 3 of our cats started using it immediately and love it. They have fun with the little attached mouse too. Would buy again!Need to know if there are replacement mats since they stick on.
