Works great, especially when visiting!
I use a more expensive high backed on three sides, litter box, for my 3.5 lb yorkie and she’s well trained in it. (Live on 4th floor of apartment with very slow elevators, and due to spine injury I move slowly most days.) My vet wanted me to paper train her as she really shouldn’t go out in snow & rain wind etc. Still, we get out daily for fun. I bought one of these roll up silicone mat’s so I can very easily and safely take her to visit other’s homes. We visit the elderly on hospice visitations and though I don’t need it for those shorter visits, sometimes it’s nice to have for the longer vigils. She knows to lay curled up against a quiet body and I know she gives comfort. It’s nice not having to interrupt and take her out. With this silicone mat and a pad I don’t have to worry about that. Also I wanted to be sure if I need to go into the hospital, I can have her stay with someone (much easier when you can show respect for others homes, which these pads provide.) Each of the corners on the mat has a way to tuck the corners of the pads in securely. It is clearly described on the larger mat so I almost didn’t get it, but then I figured I could probably take a razor and make my own slices. Luckily I didn’t need to. And Iv seen no leakage at all. The edge is slightly raised, and can easily be pinched back in shape to keep the edge nice and raised, The small pads are all my girl needs and I’m so glad I don’t need to buy one pkg for her home box and another for her traveling one, so that’s convenient. And it cleans up so easily too, then rolls up and travels just perfectly. It’s thick, and sticks to the linoleum bathroom floor Very well, no slipping about like Bambi on ice, and nothing goes underneath. Though I have read some reviews of rambunctious pups being able to dig the papers up out of the corners, and proudly carry their mats about the house! Lol! They are characters aren’t they? And my lil girl doesn’t even pee more than 1/4cup guessing, and is not an edge pee-er. This may not be the best choice for all, but for my purposes I just love it.

Great silicone protectors for wood floors
I bought four of the silicone protectors. Two for my pups playpen (1 for food and water, 1 for the pee pee pad), I have one by the back door, and one in the master bath. The silicone is easy to clean and protects the hardwood floors from any spills or messes. The square size fits the 24 inch PP pads perfectly. They have a slightly raised lip around to keep any moisture from draining onto the floor. The design is high-quality. The silicone is fairly thick. And the protection offered makes this a great value for my money.

Doesn’t Work
I’m revising my first review. I actually bought 2 more. I was so happy until I realized they were not working at all. I started smelling urine. I looked under the mat and the floor was soaked with pee. I was replacing my pee pad believing these were working great when in reality pee was running under the mat. Same with the pee pads in my front hall. At first I cleaned it all up thinking maybe it wouldn’t happen again. Sadly it’s happening non-stop. Don’t waste your money.

I like this tray, although it’s not a rigid plastic, but a soft silicone, much like baking implements. It’s perfect for the 20 x 20 inches pee pad.

Love the convenience and size of the pee pad holder. Folds up when not in use.
